Six of us visited recently and all ordered different dishes (sorry chef!). They ranged from 2 types of burgers, one with sweet potato fries the other with normal, a chicken and prawn laksa, a cod papillote, beef and ale pie and a rump steak salad with a creamy dressing. The two absolute favourites were the laksa and the pie. It...

On arrival given a warm welcome by the owners. Then before we had checked in asked what we wanted for breakfast a bit shocked by this. We were told on booking that the restaurant would closed as they were catering a function at the local manor house so we booked a table elsewhere on arrival they told us that they...

Was visiting a friend and walked here from her home - we were met with a friendly welcome and stayed for a few drinks and some food. The staff and locals were chatty and welcoming. We stayed for food which was average - great chips though! Somewhere to go for food but not for a special occasion

We spent an enjoyable evening at the Inn over a lovely meal chatting with host Del & other locals. The accommodation was comfortable and affordable. Off the main roads, quaint and quiet. Thank you. Wendy & Ian

Visiting friends in the area and wanted to try somewhere just outside the Lacock tourist traps. The landlady's welcome was warm, very friendly and the food outstanding. We all really enjoyed our meal and will most certainly return when we can.

Traveled 6hours to see a friend in the area she brought us to this pub being told it was very child friendly. Lovely looking pub but if I'm honest the food was average slightly disappointed after being told it was amazing food. Also found the lady serving rather rude to my friends son. Sadly we will not be coming back.

I had three days to spare while in the area on business and decided to stay here. I was not disappointed at all. The accommodation is clean and well maintained. Des and Tony, the owners are extremely accommodating and super friendly. This is a local watering hole and I was included in the "family" and felt at home. I ate...
