Extremely helpful and attentive staff from the moment we arrived. Beautiful, spacious room and bathroom (along with very nice smellies)! Very comfortable, short walk down into town and a lovely bar downstairs too.

Our rooms were beautiful, comfortable, clean and well-equipped. The staff were charming and very welcoming. We dined well at breakfast and dinner. The Castle Inn was convenient for the town centre. An excellent choice.

From phoning before the visit until our departure we received first class treatment Greeted by a friendly young man he carried our cases to our room. The views over Bradford on Avon were stunning. We had a very comfortable room with the added benefit of teapot with leaf tea and a cafetière with ground coffee. Dinner in the livley bar...

This is the second time we have stayed here. Again, we were warmly welcomed, shown to a great room with views over the town. The food was excellent both nights, nothing was too much trouble. Good range of real ales and the place was extremely busy both nights, creating a very pleasing atmosphere.

We booked a night here so that we could enjoy the Christmas light switch on ceremony and late shopping - it had come recommended by a local friend and we were not disappointed! Our room was decorated in a beautiful slightly quirky, quintessentially English style and the bathroom was particularly impressive. We were made really welcome and as it was...

Unfortunately this was not to be. As soon as we were shown to our room and I spotted various issues. The first was a...

Outside of this inn looks a bit like a seventies bar but once inside you have a real old traditional inn with log fires, wooden (well trodden) floors as well as wooden beams. Lots of real ale and superb food. Battered fish is light and perfectly cooked. Fish pie has new potatoes in it and comes with great roast vegetables....
