Just got back from a long weekend at the Bishopstrow Hotel - had a great weekend, the food was great (and great Vegan options for my partner), the spa was lovely, the service was fantastic and the rooms were absolutely stunning. Got a pretty good deal on Secret Escapes, and will happily return at some point in the future. I...

Visited for location reason only so did not use the spa facilities or restaurants. On arrival took ages to find a parking space, disappointing, I think the spa facility is popular so I'm afraid there is no separate marked parking for residents.First come first get parked. Our room (7) was clean and spacious and decorated in a period decor, yet...

Booked through Secret Escapes, my Daughter and I had a lovely couple of nights stay here. Beautiful warm room, so clean, everything we needed. We had the rasul treatment, 2 spa treatments (very nice staff), went in the steam room/sauna/indoor heated pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Catered for my needs. Cream tea was delicious....

We stayed in room 10 (2 bed family room) 17th Feb, it was a great size room with separate twin children's room and Jack and Jill bathroom - though perhaps not as glam as some of the other rooms. Our daughter really enjoyed the warm indoor pool and we even braved the outdoor pool for a pre breakfast (quick) dip....

The building and grounds are delightful. The room was ok - a little on the small side but very quiet. The bed was comfortable. Shower needed more power but water was hot. Breakfast was delicious with the continental choices very fresh. The staff were lovely but did find one or two foreign accents a little difficult to understand. All in...

This was a passing through stay on our way down to Torquay, the accomodation was nice, a little tired. The pool was a nice touch, however the bathrooms connecting to the pool left alot to be desired. The food was adequate the staff were just... ok.

What useless idiot did they get to redesign the oval room? whatever - what was a lovely room with beautiful views from the big windows totally cocked up by putting 2 baths and a partition in it. No sofas or place to sit. HORRIBLE unmatching and overbusy decor. Crap furniture. What a disappointment - we stayed here many times and...

I've been coming to this hotel for years. I've been here twice already this year. I have visited on my own to relax, with a girlfriend for a bit of romance and now as a father of a 8 year old. Its a dog friendly hotel that I have been recommending for years. With wonderful staff(Kerri Gibson in particular), services,...

Visited 15-16 February 2017 room 3 I have never been to a spa before and it was such a lovely surprise when my husband told me we were going! We booked treatments before going ( I would advise that you do this otherwise you may be disappointed as they are very popular) The room was more like a small apartment...
