We stayed here for one night. It is in a very pleasant location, next to the river, which the restaurant overlooks. The food and beer were very good, and the staff very pleasant and helpful. The room was pretty much pub-standard, and perhaps could do with some updating, but it was OK. Pillows managed to be simultaneously lumpy and flat...

We need a bed for the night close to Warminster and the Prince Leopold fitted the bill. Staff were excellent and the room was exactly what we needed for a short stay. The breakfast was a great way to start day with both a continental and full English on offer.

We went on a sunny warm day in May we had been driving for hours, the hosts were so lovely and welcoming. They sorted out a room which was comfortable. The atmosphere is so calm and the breakfast was good, the position is perfect if you want tranquility, it was so good we were reluctant to leave. All staff are...

We spent one night at the Prince Leopold Inn, booking in at a very attractive price that included breakfast. Although the inn is in need of some plastering (in the hallways/staircase) and a good paint job, our room was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. The bed and pillows were comfortable, with freshly washed towels laid out on the...

If you want a river setting, good food and service this is the place. The menu has something for everyone and good value. Pleasant staff nothing too much trouble. Caters for coeliacs and lovely river view, tip ask for table near the river. Will certainly go back.

Beautiful spot to meet for lunch on a sunny day. Welcoming staff with some unusual South African dishes on the menu. Lovely views from the outside seating area by the river and plenty of inviting nooks and crannies inside in which to enjoy a glass or two of excellent wine. Shall be sure to pop in when I am passing...

Great inn just off the A36 but in idyllic country by River Wylye. Rooms need a makeover as they are badly in need of a good pain job. Having said that they were clean and comfortable and aould stay there again. Visit the Dove just across the river for great food

After trying many local restaurants this was one we hadn't ticked off. We booked in last minute on a Friday and headed down for 7. Upon arrival (of which we weren't sure where the entrance was) we were greeted by a room full of let's say more elderly people loudly discussing political issues regarding the EU and so on. And...

This was a very pleasant stay, bright airy room, simply decorated, friendly staff and good food. There are lovely views from the restaurant for breakfast and dinner and coffee by the river is a treat. Ask for fish bread to feed the fish!

Stayed for 2 nights on a living social deal. Loved the place, great food, comfy bed, quiet location and plenty of places to go for a stroll after food. Choice of 2 areas to eat - either the bar area or the restaurant which has some wonderful views onto the river. Also a riverside garden where you can truly relax...
