We had a wonderful stay thanks to the warm welcome given by Mo and Jimmy. Ashburton House is in a very nice area and is well placed for visiting the Wirral. There are many nice walks nearby and it is only a short drive to see the coast. Our room was immaculate and we could not fault the excellent breakfast....

Wonderfull welcoming and chatty hosts who run a lovely clean B and B and offer as they advertise a really good hearty breakfast. Would have no hesitation in returning ourselves and recommending it to others. Thank you Mo and Jimmy

We loved our stay at the Ashburton. The owners Maureen and Jim are delightful hosts, making all feel welcome. Jim's fresh caught fish and scrambled eggs was a big surprise and so delicious with Maureen's perfectly made brown toast. Every evening we relaxed in the charming Parlor. Easy to reach both Liverpool and West Kirby, we will be staying again....

Stayed here a couple of nights around an interview. Hotel is lovely, Jim's breakfast is great and both hosts really friendly and willing to help. If I ever visit Liverpool again I will definitely stay here.

My husband and I have just returned from a 4-night stay at this spotlessly clean guest house, with the most friendly and accommodating hosts that we could hope to meet. Nothing is too much trouble for Maureen to do or organise, and husband Jim is only too happy to cook his freshly caught plaice for you for breakfast - and...

A thoroughly enjoyable stay in clean and friendly guest house. Fantastic food and very hospitable hosts. Recommended to anyone looking for a short stay on the Wirral. If we are staying on wirral or nearby again defiantly will rebook at this lovely guesthouse. Free parking a big bonus and the breakfast beyond expectation.

There I was, on the computer, searching for where I was to stay while moving back to the UK after sometime abroad. As fate would have it...I could not have found a better place on all of the Wirral ( and I may stretch it and say all of Merseyside. ) The owners Maureen and Jimmy are two of the...
