We called in on the way home from a day out and were lucky to get a table as it was very busy in the bar. There were 5 adults and 1 toddler and all of us were very satisfied with our choices. Being celiac I opted for the gluten free 'cock and bull', it was most helpful that the...

The hotel itself has that old world charm, the rooms are superb. From the front of house Debbie-Ann to all the hotel staff there service and...

As always this place never fails. The hotel was very busy but the staff coped wonderfully! We had a large party but all our meals came out a the same time. I love the Downshire but parking can be bit tricky! Will be back very soon.
