This is our 3rd visit at Ballycastle House. A beautiful bed & Breakfast for the most discerning traveler. What really makes the stay outstanding are the hosts Margaret and Ronnie Deering who make you feel like part of the family. The Ulster fries and morning breakfasts are outstanding cooked to your order. This is a great way to start your...

I can't thank Margaret and her husband enough for their hospitality during our stay at the end of August. The house is absolutely stunning and you instantly feel at home. Me and my fiance shared the double room, which was absolutely beautiful, very spacious and had a large bathroom. Margaret has thought of every detail from tea, coffee, water and...

It came as no surprise that Margaret and Ronnie's hospitality and accommodations were top drawer. We stayed with them in 2010 and have talked about it ever since, and on both occasions we were treated like old friends at their very comfortable home. Their one large breakfast table and Margaret's introductions made for friendly conversation with other guests as we...

We had a lovely stay with Margaret and Ronnie. We had a warm welcome with tea/coffee and biscuits. It is everything you expect of a traditional bed and breakfast, a beautiful house and rooms. The room had tea making facilities and the after eight mints by the bed were a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable and we have...

Margaret and her husband are amazing hosts and I can't thank them enough for their kindness and hospitality on my recent visit. From a welcoming cup of tea, beautiful en suite room and a great gluten free breakfast (especially made for me) nothing is too much bother for them. Stunning place inside and out but it is the hosts who...

The house is a beautiful family homeplace and very comfortable, the breakfast was GREAT. The Deering's treated my wife and I like family. Ron spent an afternoon showing me his antique tractor collection, and what a collection it is. Very convenient for travel to Belfast. The type B&B that we are always looking for.

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay. Margaret can't do enough to assist you. The grounds and house are superbly clean and comfortable. The ulster breakfast is gorgeous, best ever. It's such a lovely and quiet location.

Hugely warm welcome; comfortable bedroom; huge bathroom; excellent breakfast - what more could you ask for? Used it as a base to visit Mount Stewart House and Gardens, and Ulster Folk Museum, but it is close enough to Belfast to use it as a base for a longer stay.

The rooms were lovingly comfortable and breakfast deliciously filling. But it was the warm hospitality of Mr. and Mrs. Deering that is most memorable. The first time we found Ballycastle House in 1993 was serendipitous as we hoped to find the family farm near Carrowdore. Mr. Deering allowed my 10 year old daughter to rise early to feed their new...

We stayed here last night while attending a wedding nearby , it was super and our hosts were excellent . Our bed was very comfortable and everywhere was spotless . The decor is so artistic with some gorgeous antiques . Breakfast was cooked to order and the fresh fruit was delicious .
