From the moment you arrive at the gates the experience of elegance and excellence is apparent.

The sense of arrival is evident from the top of the road down allowing a view over the entire property including the 4th fairway of the world famous Royal Portrush Golf Course, an on-site putting green and the picturesque landscaping throughout.

Being welcomed at reception was very authentic and relaxed with a lovely drink and hot towel on arrival, again adding to the experience of luxury. It was through to the bar area following a very simple check-in with a wonderful aesthetic via the coffered timber ceiling and bar design that included a backdrop of the North Atlantic and again Royal Portrush golf course being framed between the treeline.

Bar staff were very attentive and took the time to learn names as well as interact with genuine interest. Our party had a dietary restriction that was easily handled and checked prior to ordering to ensure no possibility of cross-contamination - it was done in such a subtle way that it did not come across as a burden, which was very refreshing.

We stayed in a Lodge Suite with exception views throughout, plenty of wonderful local amenities and products such as local craft beers and shortbread. The bed was exceptionally comfortable with some locally made throws for decoration adding to the Irish charm throughout the hotel.

The menu on offer from the restaurant is world-class, exceptionally well made and the portions were perfect. Paired with some of their wines on selection made this an even more enjoyable experience. Again staff were very knowledgeable about the menu and were more than helpful with any aspects they were unsure about.

Overall our stay was a wonderful experience and lives up to the standard expected of a 5* Hotel with the warm hospitality of the Irish people shining through.

We have been looking forward to staying at Dunluce Lodge since it was announced last year, and it certainly exceeded all expectations. The hotel has been finished to the highest standard, showcasing great design and craftsmanship.

The location of this property is perfect, just 1 hour from Belfast, and close to the Giants Causeway, a world heritage site.it is of course also perfect for anyone planning a round of golf at Royal Portrush, home of the 2019 & 2025 The Open Championship.
Overlooking the fourth hole of this world famous golf course, the sea views are nothing short of spectacular.
The beautifully landscaped grounds create a sense of calm, with strategically placed heated terraces, to enjoy sunsets overlooking the course and Irish Sea.

Checkin was seamless, overseen by Michael and his team. They couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome.

We stayed in the Stookan, a private house off the main hotel that can comfortably accommodate parties of up to 16. Our room was very spacious, and extremely comfortable.

The restaurant was outstanding. The menu featured many locally sourced classics, with the crab, scallops and fillet steak being the standout dishes for me. The wine list was very thorough. We were guided through it by Jay, his knowledge and passion was incredible.
The service from Sky and her team was first class, attentive with a real pride being part of such a special opening for the North Coast.

The next morning, we enjoyed a full a la Carte breakfast. We were escorted straight to our table, with coffee and pastries brought straight away. The full cooked Irish breakfast followed shortly after, setting us up for the day.

I cannot begin to thank all of the team at Dunluce Lodge. A special mention to Stephen Meldrum, the hotel could not be in better hands.

Good luck to all of the Dunluce Lodge team, it was a pleasure being one of the first guests to stay at this very special hotel.

We had a five star experience at Dunluce Lodge. Our room was a beautifully decorated accessible garden suite with a lovely view of the Golf Course and to the sea beyond.

All the staff were very attentive and welcoming and we enjoyed fine dining at it's best with our main evening meal of scallops with beautifully balanced flavours.

Breakfast the next morning did not disappoint, followed by an impromptu tour of the grounds in a golf cart kindly driven by staff member Gérard.

My husband has very limited mobility and uses a wheelchair. However, he was able to access our suite, the restaurant and the bar using his walking aid only. This further enhanced our stay.

We are looking forward to returning to The Lodge and making use of the Spa, which has a beautiful relaxing ambience.

Thoroughly recommend.

From the moment we arrived at Dunluce Lodge, we knew we were in for a special experience. Michael and the reception team greeted us with genuine warmth and efficiency, making us feel instantly welcome after our journey.
Our room exceeded all expectations - spacious, beautifully appointed, and thoughtfully designed with every amenity we could possibly need. The attention to detail was impressive, from the luxury toiletries to the plush bedding that ensured a restful night's sleep.
Dinner at the restaurant was truly the highlight of our stay. Stephen and his talented team of chefs created a culinary experience that can only be described as magnificent. Each dish showcased both technical expertise and creative flair, with locally-sourced ingredients transformed into works of art. The service matched the exceptional food - attentive, knowledgeable, and perfectly timed without ever feeling intrusive.
Perhaps most memorable were the stunning views from both the bar and library, which overlook the 4th fairway of Royal Portrush Golf Club. Sipping cocktails while watching golfers navigate the legendary course created moments of pure contentment.
Dunluce Lodge has mastered the delicate balance between luxury and comfort, sophistication and warmth. We've already begun planning our return visit - this hidden gem has earned a permanent place in our hearts.

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying in this amazing hotel, from arrival we were greeted with such attentive staff, the location and views out over the golf course onto “the skerries” were unmatched to anything I’d every experienced.

We stayed with a large family party in “the stookan” lodge. It was great for our family gathering, Rooms had everything and more, we were in awe of the attention to detail and hard work in creating such excellence.

The meal and staff were immense, the little things staff did, they really did go that extra mile to make sure our stay was one we would remember. It was next to none, hats off to them!

It was an experience we thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish and we hope to stay again.

What a treat to stay in this luxurious brand new hotel, there is some much to say.

- Welcome at reception was the best I have had, so so helpful, not pushy or fake, genuine hospitality
- as you enter into the bar / lounge you are greeted not only by the luxury and rich feeling interior but the breathtaking view of the atlantic and the north coast beaches and of course the golf course
- bar manager had such an hospitable posture and made us feel so at home in the lounge area.
- the room was incredibly spacious, a beautful treat platter was awaiting us and the decor made you feel very special for sure.
- our evening meal in the dining room was special, the rich dark and moody interior meant for a lovely evening in this intimate dining room experience, you really did feel very special. The waiting staff were appropriately attentive and respectful of space, never once did we feel rushed. The food was incredible, a very well presented menu with options for all.
- the overnight was quite with very compfortable bed and bedding, a easily controlled temperature room and a very generous spaced ensuite.
- breakfast was as good an experience as our evening meal with great choices aand a morning view over the golf course and atlantic

A really great experience and part of that was the staff and how they valued, respected and treated us as guests, it was them that made it special.

What a spectacular property, and what a location, we were blown away. The views are sensational.
The staff were impeccable, so enthusiastic, engaging and so proud of what they have developed under the strong leadership of Stephen Meldrum, General Manager. They talked so excitedly of the training they underwent in order to work for one of the most prestigious hotels in Ireland. This hotel showcases every wonderful aspect about our country, the scenery and the hospitality.
We stayed with family in the Stookan suite which hosts 16 people in one of their premier lodges, with its own living area and a kitchen only a minutes walk from the main hotel.

Checkin was impeccably seamless, overseen by Michēal and his fantastic team.
We had a beautiful dinner for 16 people in the resturant where we were served a selection of their starters including tartaric, game terrain, crab and burrata which were all absolutely scrumptious. I then had the scallops for main, which I hadn't seen on any menu for main before and was a bit worried that it would be small but it was substanstial. The scallops were incredible, cooked to perfection and served in a glorious butter and sage sauce. We shared several side dishes including salads, root vegables and the most delicious chips and then the umptipus desserts.
Our waitress, Skye, was so knowledgeable about the menus, both food and wine. She was friendly and so enthusiastic in her role as ambassador for the hotel. She talked about the thorough training they went through and how inspirational she found it, which was evident in how she spoke about the property and the food and wine.
The room was exquisite, beautifully finished with everything you could ask for and even some homemade short bread cookies.
The interior from the drapes to the power shower, to the glorious bed, everything was perfect and so comfortable.
We couldn't recommend this hotel enough and so pleased that Northern Ireland has such a precious property to offer and showcase our beautiful country to the rest of the world.
Wishing Mr Meldrum and all of his staff all the best for the Open.
Thank you to all the staff for our wonderful stay X

A truly flawless experience from the moment we arrived. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, greeting us with a delightful glass of Prosecco and a refreshing hand towel. The valet service took care of our car and bags, so we were free to relax.
The whole place is beautifully decorated with a very luxurious feel, impeccably clean and the most stunning views.
The rooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated with every detail considered, again just pure luxury.
Our evening meal was outstanding, from the service to the food itself. Every dish was beautifully presented, and bursting with flavour and textures, showcasing the freshest ingredients. The servers were again very attentive and created a wonderful, warm ambience within the restaurant.
After our meal, we retired to the bar area where we enjoyed a range of drinks, this was a fun experience and it should be noted that the busy bar manager and the other staff members took time to chat with us. We decided to order cocktails, which were expertly crafted using all the best of ingredients. It was a fantastic experience and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed, but fun evening.
I cannot recommend Dunluce lodge enough, and I certainly cannot wait to return.
Many thanks to all who made this a very memorable stay.
