Abbeydene House is a true manor house with luxurious rooms and bathrooms. We had a lovely view over Belfast Lough from our room. Tim and Ethy are delightful hosts who are very enthusiastic about their house and area. I had some lovely walks along the side of the lough. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and very tasty. What wonderful accommodation! The owners Tim and Ethy were so welcoming and friendly. Tim explained the history of the house to us. Spotless rooms. Really quirky too. We loved our stay. Everything you would need is there. Breakfast was beautifully presented and flavoursome. Gluten free was catered for. This is 4* + accommodation in an excellent location overlooking Belfast Lough.

Wonderful stay at a wonderful house. Tim and Ethy really made me feel at home, can't rate it highly enough. The room was very comfortable at hotel 4 star standard. Free wifi and tv, tea and coffee making facilities were generous. The breakfast menu catered for all tastes and was cooked beautifully to order. I cannot recommend Abbeydene enough.

Tim and Ethy are amazing hosts. This stay was far and away the best stay on our trip to Ireland which was wonderful in itself. Tim's breakfast was incredible and the hospitality we received was top notch. We will definitely make arrangements for another stay on our next trip across the pond.

Wish we could have stayed longer! Fabulous house and hosts. Delicious breakfast and very comfy bed. Most of all, Tim and Ethy's collections are amazing. Lots of nearby restaurants and a walk along the sea will give you a great appetite.

Abbeydene wins for the best landlady and landlord we've ever stayed with in a B&B as well as the best accommodation in a Manor House. Ethy is the most wonderful and charming hostess and Tim has the best collection of R&B records and memorabilia I've ever seen. The location and views from Abbeydene are great. This is a 'must' on...

Spent 6 wonderful nights here recently and would highly recommend Abbeydene House. Tim and Ethy are great hosts and the house is an eclectic masterpiece. Tim cooks up breakfast to order - recommend trying the "Sloppy Tomatoes", you won't be disappointed. Good location, close to Belfast, and yet only a five minute walk to Hazelbank Park where one can take...
