Huge beds, luxurious bathroom, enormous breakfast selection, and superb hosts. This is the place to stay for anyone. Powerlifters are made to feel welcome and encouraged to eat. Close enough to Valley Leisure Centre, the heart of the NIPF. Close enough to Belfast to enjoy the attractions.

Had the opportunity to visit this wonderful building and have afternoon tea here.Tim the guy who owns this B&B gave us a bit of insight into the history of the building which was very interest. Spacious bedrooms and beautiful views of Belfast Lough. Was a great afternoon in a very interesting building.

You really have to stay here to experience the wonderful level of service and comfort. Hosts Tim and Ethy have thought of everything for the weary traveler and you are welcomed into their gorgeous property like old friends. We have stayed here on several occasions and find it such a refreshing change from run-of-the-mill hotels where you are just another...

What a great place for a weekend. We had three reasonably priced rooms and the house itself is a wonderland. Great thought has gone into ensuring guests are well catered for and we felt very welcome. Would definitely recommend and return one day.

We stayed at the lovely Abbeydene House with two other couples. The hosts are warm and welcoming and the place itself is fun, quirky, and incredibly comfortable. If you're looking for standardised, sanitised, predictable facilities - it's not for you. However... if you're looking for a super-comfy bed, a home-from-home feel, a warm welcome, and a fabulous breakfast - this...

Abbeydene House is really spectacular. I do like buildings designed by Charles Lanyon, and it was great to visit this one, from 1850. Tim, who runs the B+B with Ethy, explained that Herbert Lanyon, Charles’ son, bought the place and lived in it from 1885. The place has an interesting history. Eisenhower was a famous visitor in 1945. More than...

This was by far the best place we stayed during a weeks road trip around Northern Ireland and Ireland. Tim and Ethy have exceptionally high standards, are friendly and have the most amazing property filled with a variety of interesting things. They have thought of everything, and you will not want for anything whilst staying here. The price was also...

We stayed here after a motorcycle tour of Northern Ireland. Situated only 5 mins drive from Belfast Port. It makes an ideal base for touring. In the middle of a housing estate this is an old Mansion with a LOT of history to it. Step inside and you have returned to the 50's New Orleans, Or Memphis, With a splash...

I stayed for 5 nights in Lincoln (on the top floor) at the beginning of June, and enjoyed it so much I booked for 3 more nights later the following week and was lucky enough to have Eisenhower, a most fantastic grand room with double aspect views over-looking the sea. Tim could not have been more welcoming and helpful and,...
