I stay in many guest houses around Europe with work and the keep is up there with the best and very reasonably priced. Really nice couple that own it and the room was clean, spacious and well presented. The breakfasts are amazing too! If you are staying in carrickfergus stay here, even if your a royal! :)

We spent three nights here and were made to feel most welcome. You have access to the castle, Carrick village and transport to Belfast. The room was reasonably spacious and the breakfast was spot on. The hosts were generous and knowledgeable and made sure we were well looked after. If you are no good with stairs make sure you ask...

Our little family group stayed in two rooms and had a pleasant visit. The Keep is close enough to Belfast without being in the city. There are restaurants and pubs in walking distance, and it was a good spot for us to launch into our excursion along the Antrim coast. The rooms were neat, breakfast was excellent, and our hosts...

The guesthouse was wonderful. It was very clean and comfortable. The rooms were modern, but comfortable. The breakfast was very good- first time having an Ulster fry- and Raymond was a helpful and friendly host. We stayed here as to not pay as much to stay in Belfast. The guesthouse is in walking distance of the commuter train, which is...

My husband and I were attending a wedding nearby and stayed in this wonderful guesthouse. We were kindly welcomed and were given the run of the living room to iron our clothes and were supplied with tea and biscuits. Thank you for the great stay.

On a whim we decided to go NI from the Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon with our 13yr old granddaughter. After touring for the day we went into Belfast and couldn't get accommodation anywhere, we were advised to go out of the city to get a hotel so we headed for Carrickfergus. We went to Premier Inn but we were...

We had our wedding guests stay here. There were two families with grown children The accommodation was lovely everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Nothing was too much trouble. It was convenient to walk to everything in Carrickfergus. I would recommend this for long or short stays. The price was very good too.

Thanks to Heather and Raymond for the warm welcome for our three-night stay. Delicious breakfast! The family room (room 3) was comfortable for our group of four. The common room was a nice place for games and reading.

The laid-back atmosphere made us feel immediately welcome. A most comfortable bed and rustic neighborhood children playing outside. Carrickfergus Castle is the highlight, both visiting inside and walking up and down along the coastside road. Coming from Boston in the U.S., driving in and out of Belfast was smooth like a morning Irish banger. There's also a train, in case...
