Stayed at the Ivy Bush Royal for work nearby for 4 weeks. Monday - Friday. Rooms were okay, bed was comfortable. Tea & Coffee in the room. Shower was good. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice, enjoyed. Staff were all very friendly. Ate in the restaurant numerous times in the evening and the food was excellent if not a touch...

Don't usually review hotels who's management cant be bothered to respond to the reviews but the staff were nice so I will for them. Just a thought though why dont you respond? Your guests are putting effort into reviews and you ignore them. Anyway good stay in a lovely big room 126. Room has everything you could want apart from...

I stayed here for the weekend and even though the rooms were ok, the actual service of the staff was very poor and so was the food. We had dinner on the first night, myself and a friend out of the group we were with were forgotten about even though we paid for the meal before having the meal. It...

A nice welcome received for Coffee Morning in aid of TyCymorth. Free pen on entry and unlimited tea and coffee and Welsh cakes as it was St Davids day. Followed by a very pleasant lunch in the lounge. Lovely friendly service and great for meeting up with friends. Spacious and airy dining area. Or great if you just fancy a...

Visited for afternoon tea. Whilst food was ok, plenty of it and cakes on the whole were lovely. Sandwiches were not really to my taste(bread to thick and not enough filling) however there was enough to more than go around. Service was not that good however. When we sat down initially they brought tea/coffee but then had to ask for...

Had lunch here with my husband last Saturday. Staff were lovely and helpful and we were made very welcome. Menu was not over exciting but my husband's steak was perfectly cooked as was my salmon. Definitely a place to return to.

Our party of 12 visited recently for Sunday Lunch to mark a special birthday. Each element of the meal was well received by everyone in our group, and the service from the waiting staff was exemplary. Very attentive, polite and efficient, all the more noteworthy because the restaurant was completely full, with several large parties attending at once. The main...

A very easy to find hotel with great parking facilities. Extremely friendly and welcoming young lady behind reception and every other member of staff I met were lovely too. Had a nice sized double room with just me in it and found it extremely clean and comfortable. Couldn't see any tea or coffee making facilities but I don't usually need...

Dear me, where to begin; the breakfast was one of the worst I've ever eaten anywhere. Bacon was shoe leather and totally inedible, the sausages looked as though they were the day before's leftovers as did the bacon, the two fried eggs were raw so I sent them back and only one was returned. Everything was cold at worst tepid...
