Stayed for 3 nights for business purposes recently, at a rate of £85 B&B per night. Location: Llandeilo is a fascinating and stylish (in parts) historic market town with some excellent boutiques and cafes. It's a joy to wander around it, and it has a lot to offer the discerning visitor bearing in mind it's size. The hotel's car park... More

The hotel is very good , it doesn`t have much competition in the town , but it is very well appointed and comfortable. The room (Rhydygors) was large and spacious , the bathroom apart from a wonky tap was very nice. The tv was a little small , but this wasn`t a problem. There was a very noisy group returning... Stayed here this week, my second stay in a month. This is a big old Georgian coaching inn, but very well modernised to a high standard. A bit quirky; parking is plentiful but accessed by a fantastically narrow lane to the back of the hotel and there is then a lengthy walk, through buildings and yards, back to the front... More

This hotel is a real gem in Llandeilo, and very cheap for what you get! It is very welcoming and the fireplace in the seating area is a very nice touch. Staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. Our room was large with a very modern bathroom and powerful shower. Breakfast is included and there is lots... More

Had an amazing weekend stay with my boyfriend as a surprise for his Birthday. Food was absolutely outstanding, I ordered fish cakes to start and fillet steak for the main. Had it medium rare and was just perfect -chargrilled on the outside and melt in your mouth on the inside! Just delicious!!! My partner had the Chicken with mushroom risotto... More

We decided to take a short break in Llandeilo, we didn't stay at the Cowdor, but found ourselves there every evening, sitting on one of their large comfy leather sofa's in front of the lovely fire. The hotel it's self is really lovely, friendly staff, and very relaxing, we had Sunday lunch there, and I can honestly say, it was... More

We love the Cawdor. Fantastic place to stay. Every room is unique and the food is amazing. Always the most warm welcome too. Llandeilo itself is a lovely little town with plenty of interesting and boutique shops. See you soon!

We met my Brother and sister in law at the hotel for lunch. We were staying in a cottage locally and they had been to stay at the Cawdor's sister hotel from their home in mid Wales. We ate in the dining room, but the bar food selection seemed really good. Three of us had beef cheeks, the meal was... More

The hotel has old world charm; reception staff were helpful; the room (Bettws) was well decorated and comfortable; the wifi was good; the bathroom was very modern with a cool shower; the restaurant was closed- Tuesday; we had a good night's sleep; breakfast was generous and delicious although (only criticism) the dining room was lacking ambience, it felt a bit...
