There aren't many hotels in Sadec, and Van Kim Long hits all of the right marks. Facilities are clean, amenities good for the price point, and very conveniently located. VKL is near a beautiful public park, and walking distance to coopmart. We stayed for over a week and the hotel was a great staging ground for travel to the flower village, night market, and family nearby.
Breakfast at the restaurant is included with the room rate. The selection was the same each day, a choice between 4 dishes. All very tasty, but could use some variety like a chicken or fish. Room service menu is larger and we enjoyed late night rice porridge, and pork rice for lunch once. Hotel minibar was also very inexpensive. A welcome surprise, and very convenient to just grab cold drinks without worry.
Whether short term or midterm stay, Van Kim Long is recommended for location, price, and quality.

We had booked with another hotel online prior to visiting family in Sadec. We are from Los Angeles, California and had planned on staying one night prior to heading back to Ho Chi Minh City. The other hotel was full of mold and very dirty. We were brought to this hotel and were told it was new. If you are visiting Sadec or just passing through this is the place to stay. Professional staff and the rooms were very clean. There's even a separate coffee shop and restaurant. While I was in the lobby the owner came in. She was a very nice and asked us about our stay. We told her we had reserved one of the rooms for an overnight stay however we decided to drive back to Ho Chi Minh city to catch an early flight to Cambodia. We told her that the hotel was very impressive and would definitely stay there next time we came to visit.

This hotel used to be decent, but it has gone downhill. Found cockroaches in our room main door does not lock properly, Refrigerator does not work, shower has mold, loud banging noises all night long coming from a mysterious place in the building and trying to get a coffee in the morning without asking 5 people is a bit harsh. The staff is completely afraid of the owner, which makes him unable to provide a good experience for the guest. If you do stay her don’t eat here many other good places to eat near by and good coffee just up the road for only 25k
