We spent 5 days at Genesis Eco-Oasis. This is the real México. Not for the traveler who expects absolute perfection or who does not care to interact with the local population. The grounds are beautiful, the food provided by Gloria, an ebullient local Mayan woman...More

How thrilling it is to be at a ruins site that still has some mystique and has not been saturated by consumerism. Being able to walk up the acropolis, and to study and touch these architecturally stunning, ancient structures, is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Thanks for...More
My review is long overdue! My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of our trip exploring the beautiful Yucatán Peninsula. Lee was so sweet in letting us stay there the first few nights of June when she is typically closed....More

We are thrilled that you had a good time. Your visit was unstructured and spontaneous and made it possible to take advantage of opportunities to know some of the people who live here in the village. It was great to meet you and I hope...More

A taxi from the airport, here will be considerably more expensive than the other direction (due to regulations and licencing required to pick up passengers at the airport). A taxi from Genesis to the airport will take just over 2 hours on the toll road. The taxi will cost between $70 and $80 and you cover the toll fee which is $16 at this time. Thanks for writing.
