Our stay at Nusa Bay was an extraordinary experience. The facilities are really nice and cozy with a jungle touch to everything. Our bungalow had a nice view of the beach and the ocean. The staff is super friendly, sweet and so warm hearted they really made our stay very special and pleasant. Whenever we interacted with them we were astonished by their friendliness, hospitality and willingness to make their outmost to make our stay the best possible. We were always met by the biggest smile!

The food at the restaurant was amazing and we had some of our best dinner experiences in Bali at Nusa Bay.

The snorkeling trip to Menjangan was a top experience with amazing corals (alive!!) and a vast variation of fish. The guides were funny and easy going! I also had my first introductory dive and this was also absolutely amazing. The snorkeling at the Nusa bay beach is also astonishing with crystal clear waters. We have travelled the world and waters and fish life like the one to be found at this spot is very rare! We highly recommend a visit to Nusa Bay!

Dear Daydream61824694446, Thank you for sparing your valuable time to post your feedback on TripAdvisor regarding your recent stay at NusaBay Menjangan by WHM. We are delighted to note that you had an extraordinary experience stay with us and that you were entirely satisfied with the resort's location on private Kotal Beach, surrounded by the West Bali National Park’s jungle. I will share your appreciation of the attentive and friendly service with all team members who assisted in making your stay memorable and comfortable. We also thank you for your positive feedback regarding excellent snorkeling in crystal clear ocean at resort’s jetty, superb scuba diving at Menjangan island and the good quality of our food at reasonable prices served in the restaurant. NusaBay Menjangan by WHM is the only resort located on the private Kotal Beach in the astoundingly beautiful national park’s Prapat Agung peninsula, merely 10 minutes by boat from the famous Menjangan island. Guests can choose several nature activities from scuba diving at the nearby Menjangan island, jungle cycling and escorted trekking in the West Bali National Park as well as snorkeling at the house reef using the complimentary snorkeling gear from the resort’s Activity centre. Your recommending NusaBay Menjangan by WHM as a perfect resort for nature lovers is appreciated Thank you for having chosen NusaBay Menjangan by WHM. Myself and my team look forward to the pleasure of again welcoming you in the near future. With kind regards, Gede Rudiasa Resort Manager NusaBay Menjangan by WHM

My husband and I have just left NusaBay after a wonderful 3 night stay. We had booked a jungle view room and could clearly see the sea through the trees. Our driver arranged through the hotel got us to the boat perfectly on time and we arrived to the hotel watching the deer on the beach as we pulled up to the jetty. There were black monkeys swinging from the trees and a wild (but friendly) boar roaming around. This place is stunning. The food in the restaurant was lovely and the room spotless. The staff were all outstanding making sure that we were extremely well looked after. We had an amazing stay here and would definitely recommend it to anyone. The trip there is more than worth it. The snorkelling in the crystal clear water and kayaking along the coastline were added benefits of staying here. We loved every second of our stay.

We are delighted to note that you had a wonderful 3-night vacation with us and that your visit experience was enhanced by you face to face encounters with long tailed black monkeys, wild boar and other friendly wildlife living in their natural habitat within the resort’s premises. NusaBay Menjangan’s private Kotal Beach shares the clear, calm blue ocean and coral reefs with nearby Menjangan island. One of our guests’ favorite activities is jumping into the ocean at the end of the jetty for a refreshing swim and watching colourful fish and coral using the complimentary snorkeling gear from the resort’s Activity centre. We appreciate your recommendation of NusaBay Menjangan to all visitors wishing to escape from the crowded south Bali Thank you for having chosen NusaBay Menjangan. We stayed for 4 nights in a garden bungalow. The hotel arranged transportation from our previous hotel in Munduk to the island, we got here so we could take the boat at 12.15. Our garden cottage was ready when we came. The inside is quite nice but the porch has seen better days, but its still functional.
There is a metal box in the room where you can store things that might attract animals. The mosquito net around the bed is quite sturdy so we felt save from any possible intruders during the night.
Food selection is limited but in all fairness its a remote location and there isnt many tourists yet. However, all food has been good. Prices a bit higher then expected. A large beer 75', a small coke 30' and nasi goreng 85' (without the additional taxes).
We saw lots of animals just in the hotel area. The deers come by daily for water. The grey and black monkey could be seen sometimes. Snakes, bugs, spiders etc the usual suspect in the nature. Not to mention the abundance of butterflies.
Most annoying was the amount of small cockroches at the restaurant, they go all over the table, your legs, hair everywhere. Hoping this was just an isolated incident with nature and we were unlucky.
Due to its being in a national park you aren't allowed to leave the resort without a guide. And it's quite pricey to get a guide.
We took a 2h walk with the guide, it was nice to see more of the island, he can take you to a high point with great views.
Best part of this resort is the snorkling, its pretty good just of the pier. However, there isn't much of a beach so if you wanna go for a dip best place is off the pier. There are a few sunbeds on the beach and some at the pool.

One-liner: Awesome resort to stay, relax and enjoy nature and peace.

Would we stay here again: Yes, definitely!

What we liked: Only accessible by boat, this small paradise was very nice for relaxing and sight seeing in West Bali National Park. It is a small bungalow resort where monkeys / deer's would travel through throughout the day. Directly from the resort you can step into the sea and do some snorkeling. From the resort you can also go snorkeling to Menjangan which was really beautiful. The bungalows were very nice and clean, staff was friendly, it was just great!

Improvement: Because you are in a resort and cannot go off the island in the night (unless you pay, there are fixed times when the boat travels which are free) you are restricted to only the food they provide at the restaurant. Prices are OK, but still. Definitely recommend people to bring some chips, snacks and drinks with them, naturally there isn't a supermarket. Also note, that every time you leave the resort by boat and you would re-enter, you would have to pay the entrance fee of the West Bali National Park, since the resort is IN the park itself. However, it is also unlikely that you would leave the park during your visit, but nonetheless something to keep in mind.

The location is quite unique, with some wild life and close to Menjangan ( to dive). The room are very nice, good service and a quite/ relaxing environment. Be aware to relax and diving/snorkling this place is very nice to stay, but you are fixed to activities and restaurant of the resort. The food in the restaurant is good. The track is quite nice to make, most times you see the black monkeys, deers and also the Bali Bird. The deers, black and gray monkeys will slso come in the resort (especially in the dry season).

Finally after the hectic days and got settled, I always have time to share the valuable experiences. So there you go! I've been staying in this beautiful place twice and both are dope. Everything seem perfect. The white sand beach which feels very private that you can walk at some point just only you (or maybe with some cute lil dears), the snorkeling area which is just right in front of the property, also the staff which are very helpful and friendly. All those things always make me wanna come back over and over again. Definitely worth it!

We were greeted by the hotel staff on arrival, which was very pleasant! After checking in (where we received a welcome drink and cold towel) we were shown to our room, which we were blown away with! A staining bed, unique decor, lovely bathroom and some added amenities we hadn’t received anywhere else (mosquito cream, spray, umbrellas, Flipflops, travel adaptor, masks). After seeing the room and the activities the hotel had to offer we decided to stay another night and Include their dolphin tour in our trip! Granted the whole place could do with a lick of paint, but everywhere could post pandemic. The house snorkelling was amazing, lots to see… but the diving trip, just wow, some of the best dive sites I’ve been too. Highly recommend for diving! The food was delicious, and breakfast you had a choice of eggs any style or Indonesian, which we were very happy with. Our room was cleaned twice a day and they topped up the water in the room each time. We also did the trekking tour, our guide was amazing, and friendly but we didn’t see many animals ( I believe we may have been a bit early with the seasons). It is apparently best to see the pigs and deer in the dry season which is normally may-November.
The staff were extremely friendly and really did the best they could to help with anything, they even gave me a leaving gift, which i did not expect!

We called the hotel and they told us to drive to Labuan Lalang harbor to be picked up by a boat and the boat would take us to the hotel, which was only accessible by boat. After driving for 4 hours from where we were, we arrived at the harbor, and there was nobody from the hotel to greet us
. So we called them and they told us to wait. After waiting for about one hour, finally some body came on a motorcycle only to tell us that the hotel was not operational at all.

My girlfriend and I were in Bali for two weeks. The first week we stayed at the Nusabay Menjangan.
We were very happy that we chose this hotel. The bungalows had a lot of space, a nice view and a nice interior. Also the encounter with deer and monkeys was great.
However, the really good food and the great, intact, colourful underwater world without mass tourism as well as the extraordinary hospitality of the staff and the diving school are worth mentioning.

We would love to go there again and stay overnight at Nusabay menjangan! Only to recommend!
