We were only staying for a night, so just needed a warm, comfy bed plus clean facilities which Harcourts Park delivered. On arrival we were greeted nicely and everything about the accommodation was explained. We had rented an 'eco cabin' which is a block of 8 units apparently only a few years old. We had advance notice to bring our...

I will say this was the worst holiday park in New Zealand!!!!! we booked a standard cabin which was cheap and it showed. I don't expect much for a 45$ a night accommodation, we did have a heater in the room but thats it, the lady in reception explained to me we didn't get sheets with the room, and normally...

A long awaited holiday for my family was ruined by our stay at this holiday park..I only wish I had of read the reviews before we booked our room. I have stayed in alot of holiday parks in nz and i would definitely not recommend this one to anybody...I found the park manager to be absolutely rude and unhelpful, he...

we stayed in a motel unit. had everything we wanted. but is pretty outdated and tied. the area is damp and cold which doesn't help. the worst thing we found was being cold we want to watm up by watching tv in bed. but you can't. cost wise it was ok. and staying here served a purpose.

I had read some bad reviews of the camp before booking but everything else was full so had limited options. We found the Camp Manager was obnoxious & rude to my boyfriend & very sleazy towards me. Facilities are ok but the experience of the camp manager means we won't be staying again. The camp ground wasn't very busy for...

Kitchen & bathroom facilities were excellent. The tent pitches were in a separate field but the ground was so full of stones it was virtually impossible to get the tent pegs in. Don't know if it is normally a windy location but the wind came through in such strong gusts which almost bent our 3 man tent in two. You'll...

I stayed one night with my camper van and was a clean and simple holiday park, way less expensive than the Top 10 in Wellington with easy access to Wellington. This was a pleasant stay and everything was clean and working, will go back again, easy trip to central Wellington about 35 minutes mid-morning.

Fantastic owners with great hospitality. Nothing was any trouble and the unit we had (self contained) was spick and span. Very tidy and peaceful environment. Thanks for a great stay and for looking after us, and for going the extra mile with there was a late change.

I wanted to share my unfortunate experience. My boyfriend and I were driving into Wellington, about an hour away and I called to see if they had any cabins available. I spoke with a women, at 5: 20pm, who said yes they had space and that she would hold the cabin for us until 6: 30pm. I said great, but...

“Rooms are all the same location wise, if multiple adults probably best to stay in the group of 3 cabins as they are across from the communal kitchen/TV room and Laundry room as there is only one bathroom and no separate toilet.”

“Remember to bring all your own bedding and towels. The 8 Eco Cabin units are in an L Shape, with the toilets/shower rooms in the middle, next to a communal kitchen room. Everything nice and clean. Verandah in front of the units would keep you dry in wet weather for a night time dash to the loo (max distance only 4 units)”
  • Eco Cabins - with unfortunate power pylon
  • The office building and grounds - take kids to the awesome playground at the park next door inst
  • One of the Eco Cabin units. Very basic but clean.
