I stayed here on my own for five weeks in May-June 2016 while carrying out research for a book. I had a 'superior' apartment to myself with small kitchen/living room, bathroom and bedroom. The manager and staff were very friendly and helpful and I was able to use the free shuttle bus to get to and from the University Library...

I feel bad for students who live there whole year. Went there on a one week conference; there were cockroaches in our room, both dead and alive. Times with hot water in a shower were so random and rare. Food was more bad than good, they gave main dish, side dish, salad and fruit all on the same small plastic...

I stayed in there for 8 days in a physics conference. If you're a student, it is bearable, there was no air conditioning but we had fans in our rooms and if we kept the balcony door open at night it would be enough to cool the room. The pool is very nice but there are no supervisors. The food...

The place is nasty. I stayed there fr 4.5 months. Although it is an EXCELLENT place to make friends and the people are nice....everything there is nasty! Rooms are nasty. There are "cleaners" who come every week to "clean" but nothing ever is clean. In sooo many flats there are literal piles of dust because it is unclean. Kitchens are...

Got there for few days of vacations. No controls or supervisors, no conditioned air, no fresh shower water at afternoon, dirtiness everywhere (bring some cleansers) especially in common areas. Lunch/dinner food are always based on potatoes, rice, chicken and salad. Very bad cuisine quality. Avoid if possible.

I lived here for six months from January until July. Whilst being a great place to make friends the sub standard accommodation and expense (given that I was in a single room paying nearly €500 a month) was unacceptable. The pool was constantly filthy, there were cockroaches everywhere, there was also outside events put on every weekend which residents were...

The experience was bad in general. The room we were staying was very dirty as there was a bad smell coming through the window in the bathroom and what is more, we stayed for 10 nights and they only came to clean it and to change towels and sheets once! The food wasn't so good, there weren't a lot of...

I stayed in sharing rooms for 10 months. Find friends easily but then nothing. This place was terrible. 10 months I survived! Especially, manager was horrible to people who thinks he is the best! First it was too expensive for this awful facilities. For a single room prices you can rent a flat in Gzira. I wish I had someone...

We stayed at these apartments which were central for getting all around Malta. We hired a car and had plenty of parking at the hotel. The self catering apartment was huge for two people. Good size pools although the pool didn't have many refreshments.

It was such a pleasant stay at the Malta University Residence and the staff was simply amazing...they were so helpful and friendly... The rooms are ok and nothing special but a very good value for money... The pool is a big plus and we really had the time of our lives!!
