The Pullman Khao Lak Resort garners high marks for its cleanliness, with guests often mentioning the spotless rooms and well-maintained beach. The rooms are spacious and boast a range of amenities, though a few guests have pointed out some missing features and delays in housekeeping. While the resort's amenities, including the spa and pools, receive praise, a handful of visitors have remarked on limited drink options. Though some guests debate the value, others feel the picturesque location on a tranquil beachfront justifies the cost. The service is generally celebrated for its professionalism, despite occasional inconsistencies.

Hello all,
We are not normally people who write reviews (either good or bad), however, we have been inclined to post a review for the Pullman Khao Lak due to the overwhelming feeling of appreciation and satisfaction we have experienced during our stay.
We stayed a total of 16 nights (15 nights booked, 1x additional night extended due to an airline cancellation - we wont go into the Airline dissatisfaction here).
From the moment we entered the resort we were completely impressed by the attention to detail and the unwavering commitment to our complete and utter satisfaction with our stay from the staff at Pullman Khao Lak.
This genuine commitment was found to extend through every level of the resort including the top level, the Resort Manager Mr. Nicolas Girard who assisted us personally with a few items during our stay. He is a Manager who has complete passion for the Customer experience and total commendation to his leadership as it shows through all levels in his resort.
Our housekeeper Anny was someone who we personally found to be exceptional, friendly and also completely invested in providing us with the most personalised experience during our stay including daily written messages on green plant leaves wishing us the best day ahead on our beds each morning!
Party at the pool bar we found to be simply amazing at ensuring that every guest feels at home and comfortable whilst in her presence. She is the most talented bartender and her clear appetite in ensuring that every customer has the most amazing experience during their stay is evident and very must appreciated.
The resort is clean and extremely well kept and the staff clearly have pride in their resort and working environment. We found the room we stayed in (2BR Beach Front Pool Villa) to be extremely comfortable and exceeded our expectations at all levels. The beds are soft and the pillows are exactly as you would hope, soft and comfortable.
The massage experiences are also great, special recommendation to Jee Five who provides the most amazing massages to guests.
The front reception staff are always there to assist you with anything, from a taxi to commercially related queries. Anupong Nuanchan, the resorts Assistant Front Office Manager could not have been more helpful and completely committed to assisting you with anything you require. She even sent us a personally written note on our final day to wish us safe travels home, so appreciated.
In summary we could not recommend this resort any higher to anyone wanting to get away for a while to a place where everything is taken care of properly and nothing is too much trouble at every level within the resort.
Your stay is in good hands and you will not be disappointed!
It is my complete pleasure to give nothing but the highest of reviews to Nicolas and his amazing Team.
Well done.

Dear AvidTraveller, It was a pleasure to have you among us and I certainly lack of words for your review which certainly compliments the work done by the entire team. Therefore, I would like to thank you on behalf of the entire team for comments. We obviously didn't meet at first under the best circumstances but I am glad to see that our respond was there to ensure that the rest of your stay goes well and it did. Most of all, I really enjoy and cherish all our interaction. It was great to know each others and share experiences etc... First, your experience is the perfect example that whenever you face an issue or a challenge, we encourage our guest to share it to us and do not keep your frustration as we are here for you. Secondly, the most enjoying part of been a hotelier, is to meet people like you and enjoy great conversation from time to time. AvidTraveller, please do send our regards to all your family, and hope to welcome you back again soon so you could enjoy some great sunset once again. Your world is our playground, Nicolas Girard Hotel Manager PS: Do not hesitate to drop me an email when you plan to come back and it will be my pleasure to assist you once again.

Absolute five star experience!

I am so impressed by Natty at the Rosalyn Spa. She has perfect pressure, she worked wonders on my feet and ankles, and always leaves me feeling relaxed. I find massages are the hardest part of my holiday because it makes me think of work (I own a massage clinic in Melbourne) but Natty helps me relax completely. I love my daily 30 minute massage with her.

Party and Nannoo at the Tharn Pool Bar are exceptional. Party is the nicest, funniest and just most wonderful person! My husband and I love chatting all throughout the day with Party by the pool, learning Thai phrases and enjoying brilliant cocktails. My husband is a former bartender and is extremely impressed by Party’s cocktail mixing.

All the staff at the Plai restaurant are amazing. Within 3 days they knew our faces, our usual orders, our room number. They are very attentive and take such good care of us. When I dine alone, the staff come to chat with me. They are so friendly and make us feel very welcome.

Our room is outstanding!! We have a partial sea view room with a view directly over the pool and the whole resort. The bed is comfy, the pillows are fantastic. A huge shower. Lots of room for our belongings, we’re here for three weeks and we don’t feel like we are cramped at all.

The daily cleaning is always great. A freshly made bed every day, and new linen when we need it.

The reception team are so helpful with organising shuttle buses to the market and town.

The pool is great. We spend most of our day in the water relaxing.

Food is wonderful, both a La carte and the buffet options.

We are having the best time. So very happy with our choice!!

Dear Mel Simon, If there is something that I always enjoyed to read on a review, it is to see how our guest can remember our team names (especially since they are so different from yours) and tell us how our team were to personalized their stay throughout small touches but nonetheless, memorable. Therefore, I would like to thank you on their behalf as be sure they indeed asked me to. The other part of your review were also very enjoyable to read :) and I am glad that you really enjoy your all Inclusive package from the bar to the restaurant and the Spa. Mel Simon, be sure that your review will find a great spot in our "wall of fame" and we look forward to welcome you back again soon. We recently stayed at the Pullman resort on a luxury escape package.

The rooms are beautiful and large and cleaned exceptionally well each day. The rooms are stocked with lots of complimentary bottled water which is very handy.

We loved our time at this resort. The pool swim up bar a favourite of ours and loved the staff who worked tirelessly to make all the beautiful drinks for guests. They always have a smile on their face and so friendly.

We absolutely loved our massages at the spa. In particular, therapist Jee Natty was exceptional. I’ve had many many massages over the years and honestly her professionalism and expertise is outstanding. I’ve spent many trips to 5 star hotels with spa/massage and nothing even comes close to the therapists that are staffed at the Roslyn day spa. It was such a treat that I will sorely miss once I have landed back in Australia! Thank you Jee Natty, I will miss you very much, I’ve never been so relaxed :)

Our kids loved the pools and waterslide. Bring a little blow up pool ring or floatie to lay on for extra speed on the slide :) soccer nets are also provided which also were enjoyed by my kids. The main pool is probably the best I’ve ever seen. It’s a great size for swimming laps but also wide and so much room. The water temp is also perfect!

The gym is open 24/7 which we found great. It’s pretty quiet and well stocked with modern equipment. There is also a table tennis table.

There is a shuttle service to Khao Lak centre which was great and well priced compared to taxis too. The resort is around 25 mins away from the main town - which didn’t bother us as we found everything we needed inside the resort.

There are two restaurants. The main one is a buffet style but you can order a la carte. Some days not all dishes are available but the staff do their best to accomodate. The beach restaurant you need to book 24 hours in advance for. We enjoyed it for lunch as the view is stunning so best to book in for the next day so you don’t miss out. The menu does get a little repetitive but still better than cooking yourself :)

Loved our holiday - thank you to all the hard working staff who really are the reason this resort is as wonderful as it is.

Dear tog80, Thank you very much for taking the time to wrote such a long and details review which will give everyone a great ideas about the experience that they can get at Pullman Khao Lak Resort. I couldn't agree more with you by saying that the team are the one to make the hotel so wonderful. We are very fortunate to be in a hotel which is less than 3 years old and therefore the facilities are really at their best. But we are even more fortunate with the team we have and it is not only a pleasure for you as a customer, but for us as well as part of the management team :) The main pool is really the heart of the resort and with all her features, I am very excited to hear that it was one of the best you ever seen. tog80, Khun Natty, the team and myself are also missing you and hope that you will think of us for your next holiday plan so do not hesitate to contact us at hb436-du@accor.com and it will be a pleasure to assist you once more. We booked our stay through Luxury Escapes, we had an 11 night bunk room.
We arrived very late but was picked up by the hotel minibus, from the moment we were picked up we were looked after.

Next day we noticed the room below us was vacant and had a swim up pool, we enquired about moving into this room and was advised for a small fee (about $40 Aus per night) the room was ours! The reception team was lovely, Moo went out of his way for us to ensure everything was spot on!

The all inclusive menus is extremely vast with lots of items, you never went hungry or thirsty!
Breakfast buffet was a little limited, nothing very fancy.. but again you always find something to eat.

The staff are very lovely… some other reviews mentioned how limited some of the employees English is- I would agree but nothing Google Translate can’t fix.

The bar staff at the pool were most helpful and Packy ended up be-friending my daughter and even braided her hair towards the end.

There was a young man who did the Thai boxing, he also ran archery, he was amazing with my son! Always smiled and was soo polite..

Included massages we good.. my suggestion is ask for oil- the Thai massage was a little too much.

The hotel it’s self is a little far out, but with all the inclusions there was no reason to leave. We did head into town for the night markets. We arranged our own taxi, about half the price of the hotel service.

House keeping ladies did a beautiful job, the room was serviced everyday.. over all amenities were petty good..

The gym was well fitted out and very clean and spacious.

We loved our stay, thank you to all the lovely staff who made our visit so special.

Being in such a lovely hotel with so few guests is a very strange experience. However, the staff went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The focus of the hotel in these unusual times was the beach restaurant and bar where the brilliant music reflects the time of day.
Being on ‘Fully Inclusive’ package was a real bonus, the drinks, especially the cocktails helped make the quiet times bearable. The sun beds by the bar are nestled in the pool so dipping your feet in when you get too hot 🥵 is a real joy. The views over the beach make for a wonderful place to spend your time (we spent most of our time her) either sunbathing or relaxing on the sofas in the shade by the bar. The music reflects the time of day and the staff do their best to keep your drinks topped up. Breakfast was in the main restaurant and caters for all your needs, lunch and dinner is at the beach restaurant. The food was good but the menu choice should be changed every 5 days or so as it became monotonous.
We really enjoyed the Rosalyn Spa daily massages, my wife does not normally like these so the masseurs accommodated her and made it a nice experience.
Find Mr A who calls himself the ‘Walking Manager’ he’s a wealth of knowledge and recommended a couple of outings for us which we really enjoyed. Don’t miss the ‘Tsunami Museum’ (not to be confused with the Memorial Park along the beach) it’s a 20 minute walk in the local village well worth a visit.

We enjoyed our stay here, I would suggest getting ‘All Inclusive’ as there are virtually no restaurants or bars locally to eat at unless you go ‘Native’

The hotel is uniquely designed and inspired by Takua Pa Old Town. It is located a few hundred meters from Tsunami Memorial Park. Honestly, the sandy beach around this area of Khao Lak is more beautiful and clean.

We spent 2 nights with all together 3 rooms in the Pool Access which are connected to the main pool. For us this was absolutely perfect, even though we haven't tried the other room types yet.
In the evening they had sunset cocktails with 50% off, and then we had dinner after that. Foods were very delicious whilst listening some nice beat and seeing the wave.

Thank you for all enthusiastic staff always looked after our children very well. You have to try this place if you ever come to Khao Lak, you will fall in love this place. We will return again before the end of the year. See you all soon!!!

I was so lucky 7 days in Pullman Khao Lak without any bad weather. The hotel was absolutely perfect for your honeymoon. The design is unique, kinda romantic especially the light tone in the room. When you think of a real holiday that you can just spend most of your time inside the hotel I think here is a decent choice. Every morning we woke up and ran out on the white sandy beach line with no any tourists before getting plentiful choices of breakfast. We always met the Front Manager, Mr. Ko Pure for some chit chat about the history of the community and any other interesting excursion around this area. We tried his recommended day trip, Surin Island which was wonderful (one of the best trip we have ever been).

We just recommend Pullman If you have a plan to Khao Lak soon!

Arrived from Pullman Phuket so would have wanted them to link the booking left Phuket earlier then checkout so should have been picked up that we could check in early/on arrival …..regardless the place on 1st sight is lovely flat with a few bridges to walk over at the pool area, although for disabled ppl it’s all flat along the back of the apartment blocks, so it’s doable for wheelchairs & lifts in all blocks.
No one can reserve a sun lounger, 30mins & your stuff will be stored at the towel hut.
The pools are lovely, sea & beach beautiful.
Breakfast : disappointed, very limited for my choice.
The sausages are Frankfurt sausages, beans are sweet hash brown were sloshed into 1 mound of mush. Edible thou. Just don’t look nice,
No granola here , muesli ✔️ kids cereals ✔️
The bread selection is lovely. European foods curried noodles etc available & a good egg station.
It’s just not as good for me as others I’ve been too.
Everyone’s standards vary I know, I’m well travelled & this is the poorest I’ve experienced in a long while in terms of breakfast choices.
The hot water for tea is fabulous 😀
Movie viewing are for kids & the sunset along the beach is lovely much cheaper to eat & drink (£2 singha beer) along the beach than the hotel, my husband ordered a beer in the hotel not only was it £7ish it was warm so he sent it back to get a cold one 😂 don’t mind paying that price but it has to be cold.
Would I revisit NO I feel there are plenty more hotels in this region which are offering more for the money you pay to stay here

Just returned from a 8 night Luxury Escapes deal to this resort in Khao Lak. LE guests are requested to wear an armband that identifies them as ‘All Inclusive’ guests but we soon found out that this armband indicates to staff that these guests are only entitled to very low standard alcoholic drinks and the premium drinks are way too Theexpensive to continuously buy.
The resort is 25 klm from the centre of the Khao Lak township and located in a rather poorly developed part of a Khao Lak village. You feel isolated being so far away from restaurants and shops and unless you are willing to leave the resort you are subject to the strict timeframes around breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plai restaurant all day dining is 06.30 to 10.30, lunch is 12 noon until 15.00 and dinner 18.00 until 21.00 and if you want or need anything to eat at any other time you cannot. The Kram Beach Club where the Infinity Pool is doesn’t open for drinks of any kind until 11am and 12 noon for food. An a la carte menu is available here but the food is poor. Because drinks are not really available until 11am if you want a bottle of water with breakfast before 11am you will be charged for it.
The ground staff are good and try to be helpful but they are unable to resolve any sort of issue or complaint without approval from hotel manager, Nicolas Girard and that always took time. When talking with Nicolas we found him to have no real interest in ensuring that guests enjoyed their stay and if you don’t like something ‘complain to Luxury Escapes’ or ‘if I give to you I have to give to everyone’. We pointed out one day that the glass doors leading to outdoor tables at the restaurant were filthy and he clearly took umbrage at this although they were cleaned shortly afterwards. The shuttle service was once a day at 3.30pm for a fee, not easy to get away from the resort.
Calls to reception for assistance with room issues, such as a tv remote not working or a full bath that wouldn’t empty, had to be followed up a number of times before someone came to the room. One of only two lifts was out of action for two days before we left and still wasn’t working when we left.

We were able to have a late checkout as our return flight from Phuket wasn’t until 10.20pm and that was appreciated. The checkout itself was troublesome as Jee Pare at reception refused to honour an agreed 10% discount on the price of premium spirits and her unfriendly attitude toward a departing guest was poor.

First of all, your review is a simple “pay back” towards my denied to your request and here is what you really talk to me when we meet. You ask to meet the Manager when you continuous comments about the quality of the house spirit that is including in your package couldn't be change by our team to a high category of spirit despite offering you a discount on those (which you have never accepted) and your threat to talk to all customers of the hotel about how you felt. Therefore, when I saw you in the lobby, I approached you and asked if you were available to discuss which you have accepted. You have shared with me your comments and request the following: - Upgrade your package free of charge to Brand Spirit "only for you" which have indeed denied because if I would have to make an exception for you, it would be completely unfair to other customers who book similar package to yours. You have then mentioned that the description of "House Spirit" was misleading which I reply to you that your booking was made through Luxury Escape, and if you felt the description was misleading, you should report this to them as you booked through them which you have denied. I sure that you knew it wouldn't go anywhere as the description house spirit is in fact not misleading. Then, you have asked me - To get a complimentary airport transfer because you would have to purchase "a la carte" Brand Spirit which I have denied for the same principle as the above. Because it would be completely unfair to other guest. Not only those who booked through Luxury Escape but for any guest who paid "a la carte". We are here to listen to you when you have a problem, but it doesn't mean that we have to comply to every of your request of compensation when we felt it is not appropriate. Most importantly, such discussion should not be taken personally. Myself as well as the rest of my team, do represent the hotel but the attitude of your wife towards me afterwards was simply unacceptable. For instance a few days later when I was in the lobby on the phone, she look at me and pointed her finger to me and telling me that she need to talk to me in a very rude manners. The reason was that she was charge for a bottle of water during breakfast while there is already water available, but because she felt on that day that the glasses provided were too small and she didn't want to go to the station too many times. In fact, the all-inclusive package clearly describe the hours which are from 11h00 to 22h00 for beverages (during the breakfast, you have full beverage available on the buffet). And then you have the inclusion of a lunch and a diner under a la carte or buffet option during the hours that you have mentioned. The package does include "ALL Day food option". I do not see the issue there. Then she went on our Facebook page and start to post negative comments on the Spa and our Therapist which had nothing to do with your claim. Finally the location of the hotel. We have never advertised that we were in the middle of a busy area surrounded by a lot of restaurants, bars and/or shops. As a contributor of 14 reviews on Tripadvisor, I am surprised that you didn't checked our page before decide to book the package in our hotel. The hotel cannot be blame if you as a customer, didn't make any research or misinterpreted the description provided. It is simply disappointing to be rated this way for those above reasons as it penalized all the hard work done by the team on daily basis but be sure that we do not have any problem to acknowledge when we are wrong and give the appropriate response if a compensation is needed. For the rest, I will just let the readers make their own opinion by reading others reviews so they can make their own mind about our hotel. Best Regards Nicolas Girard Hotel Manager

We stayed at Pullman Naithon in Phuket when it was recently opened and we loved it! We thought it would be the same in this case but there were things that needs to be improved. Since they are only opened for 3 months, it was obvious that many systems were not set in place and there were a lack of staff members so the service was not up
to par for a 5 star hotel.

Upon arrival no one came to help us carry our bags from our car to the lobby which was already a bad first impression. The welcome drink took almost 10-15 mins to arrive. The room was good, faculties were brand new! The bed is so comfy as well. We had a Family Suite Pool Access room right by the kids zone by the slider. At first we were worried that it would be noisy since we are an adult family of 5 but because of covid it was very quiet. One of us had her back scraped at the water gun kids zone the edges were pretty sharp, we asked for a plaster but they didn’t have one and it took them almost an hour to go out and get one for us.

For happy hour it’s great! Decently priced drinks. And location is superb too! Great sunset. During Covid i wouldn’t suggest to order seafood since one of the Salmon dish we ordered the fish was not fresh at all it had a weird smell.

For morning buffet breakfast it was a total chaos. Sunday was chaos but Monday was peaceful. The dining area would not be able to fit many guests if esp the weekend. There were also no tables on Sunday morning and we were told to wait but there was so queue system in place at all, this has to be improve ASAP. The buffet line was ok, some things were too salty, but it was ok I guess.

Overall I guess the one in Phuket is better maybe that’s why I felt like it was a bit of a let down here, but still facilities are new and great!
