We stayed in lovely small cottage with one large bedroom housing a single and a double bed. The only negative was that the double bed creaked at every little movement. The cottage was lovely and warm. Tea and coffee was provided and also a choice of cereals left in the kitchen. The owners were very helpful and answered all our...

we loved the stableyard accommodation-we stayed here 2 years ago when they also were b&b. lovely character (old stables, once a historic pub), in a small village with history. We had not booked as we had intending in staying in Derby (after Welshpool) but due to tiredness with all our travelling, we continued on in Wales as the following nights were...

Really enjoyed our stay here - the two-bed self catering cottage was clean and tidy, really well equipped, and comfortable. It was cosy and warm on quite a miserable weekend, and Kathy couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Characterful cottage, pretty village location - and super little shop over the road too! Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Stayed here for the local horse racing in October. Lovely 1 bed roomed cottage with everything you need including washer/dryer. Very clean and well presented with free wifi. They had even left us milk in the fridge and cereals. Even a small private terrace area to sit in the sun. Close to 2 pubs doing meals and a 20 minute...

Nice room. Had en suite room which was very nice although the floor had a slant. Clean and very nice breakfast. Very welcoming. Parking available. GPS makes this easy to find. It is a short walk away from a very old pretty bridge.

Like to watch a cross section of cars and motorbikes travelling fast on a challenging course but have found Goodwood a bit crowded then I recommend the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power for a different experience. Two days are always better than one and I have found the Stableyard, High Street, Bangor On Dee is the perfect place to stay. There...

Ate at the pub across road. Wonderful old building but modern facilities. Stayed in room 1 which has bath with shower over. Overlooking the road but secondary double glazing made it quiet and draft proof. Would definitely stay again.
