First time staying overnight in Almonte, and the Riverside Inn was the last stop of a day-long business trip. Normally I stay in chain hotels when travelling on business, but this experience changes that idea. Our host, Rob was welcoming, accommodating, and provided knowledgeable advice of where to head for a late dinner to very walkable downtown Almonte. The converted...

Amazing time. Was here for a weekend visiting friends in Pakenham and ended up here by necessity. Very happy it happened. Super relaxed and tranquil. Rob the owner is very friendly and accommodating and breakfast was better than I expected. Clean room and nice character home feel. Didn't love the nightlife in Almonte, or lack thereof, however it is a...

Big old room with windows facing the street so you feel you are sleeping in the middle of the lights as it has no blinds; maybe coaches were cleaned up only when the house was built >100 years ago; no soap in the washroom so I had to borrow one liquid soap from a washroom in the hallway; breakfast just...

Spacious room with view of river. Very clean and tidy. Owner gave us local advice of area. Really enjoyed our overnight stay, especially the pancakes with fresh peaches for breakfast. The inn is a short walk to the historic village Main Street of Almonte.

Stayed in the Wheatley room with our almost 3yr old daughter (we called ahead to ask if this was alright and we're so happy the owner had no issues with us sharing a bed). It was so refreshing having a keyless locked door (we've been locked out with the toddler in error so many other places)! Morning breakfast was delicious...

Stayed for a weekend, in this historic inn on the Mississippi River. The room was quiet and comfortable and looked over the river. Breakfasts were delicious , creative and beautifully presented. Rob, the owner was friendly and accommodating. The town of Almonte is quaint with delightful shops for browsing.

The room was really nice, beautiful view of the water, nice grounds, snacks, excellent service and an all around great place to stay. We would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was phenomenal and they serve coffee to you in your room...How great is that? Stay here if you come to Almonte!

Great place to stay for young families. Our innkeeper was a great host by making our arrival easy and comfortable. The gardens and waterfront had been a wonderful space to unwind after a long day of travel. We had excellent sleeps and delicious home cooked breakfasts from a generous variety of menu options. Enjoyed our hotel room and hospitality service...

We stayed at the Almonte Riverside Inn in late July. We were warmly greeted and promptly shown our room as well as the complimentary perks (assorted beverages, snacks, use of wine glasses...). The room was clean, air-conditioned and quiet despite the fact that we were close to the road. We had a balcony from which we could sit down, enjoy...
