What a fantastic afternoon we have had at the Old Rectory today. We booked for 14 people to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We had a private room which was beautifully laid up when we arrived. The staff were very attentive and made us feel very welcome, especially Jordan. There was a good range on the menu and the food was...

I came here for a meal with my girlfriend and family for her 21st birthday. The staff were very welcoming and they created a great atmosphere, especially our host, Jordan. The food was faultless and a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend for any event!

I have travelled all around the world in my job and rarely feel effusive enough to review a hotel but this is an exception. We drove up to the hotel and were greeted by a most stunning building; it looks like a Country Manor. We went inside and were warmed by a real fire. The staff are amazing; very friendly and...

We book this hotel at the very last minute. The staff were very welcoming and friendly to us and our very welcome dog. The room and bathroom were both spacious and clean. We had a lovely view from our room. Breakfast was very nice. Lovely place! Only point was that our heating control was broken and left in the highest...

We'd left it last minute for NYE, and thanks to Wales Online publishing hotels with spaces, decided to ring up. The helpful reception staff or manager (I'm not sure which) kindly gave me a good explanation of the rooms available and this really helped; we opted for the Honeymoon suite as I was advised it had ample room and a...

We were a party of 8 adults and 2 children for Christmas Day and to be honest, we weren't holding out too much hope as we had been out for some disastrous meals for Christmas in the past ( not at the Rectory). It was our first Christmas here and we will definitely be booking again for next year. A...

We recently celebrated our grandaughters 18th birthday with a family meal. The meal was first class. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We didn't stay overnight as we live fairly local. We have visited before and will definitely return again. Lovely evening - thank you to all !

Popped in for lunch today and have to say it was delightful. The service was quick. The food and presentation outstanding. I was just amazed it was so quiet. Will definitely be going back. The location is difficult to find if you don't know where it is, but once there is wonderful. You can understand why is such a popular...

This venue is without doubt 'TOP DRAW'. My group booked The Old Rectory as the base for a recent day's seminar and factory tour. The professional approach and courtesy shown by Cameron Thomas (Hotel Manager) and his team was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and attention to detail was flawless. I myself stayed the night before in one of...
