In June 2014 I reviewed this B&B, committing to return in 2015... well I did with husband and son and now three years later I am returning with 7 new Casa La Pace guests!!! Cannot get enough of this special place in Northern Tuscany and as all reviews have confirmed you can't have better hosts to make your Italian vacation...

Rusty and Pepper were the most accommodating hosts. They fielded emails with my mother for weeks before my solo trip around Europe and offered suggestions for my itinerary. The few days I was able to stay with them were some of the best of my trip! Casa La Pace is a beautiful building. They have worked to create a blissful...

Trying to load two weeks’ worth of luggage for six people on the 9 AM train loaded with commuting students, gives one little time for reflection on the past seven days in amazing Tuscany. Only after the youngsters bounded off the car in Lucca, did I have a chance to think about the fact that I was leaving this lovely...

I had the privilege and pleasure of staying at Casa La Pace Bed and Breakfast for four days and nights. To say it was amazing is an understatement. Pepper and Rusty, the owners, were the best hosts I have ever encountered. Pepper personally took us on a tour of the enchanting village of Ghivizzano, including the castle! It was very...

In their years in business the owners have refined the guest experience to a point where they anticipate everything. The best of all worlds is the picturesque small town that is walkable, a train station to everywhere and buses as well. They will take you on a day trip or direct you on your own. They take care of tickets...

Our Italian cousin, who lives in Ghivizzano, Italy, recommended Casa La Pace. Ghivizzano is a hilltop fortress-town in one of Italy's most beautiful regions. It's a place which deserves to be known and visited. And Casa La Pace is a gem which fits the setting most appropriately. The home, restored by Americans Pepper and Rusty, offers a magnificent view of...

From the moment I stepped off the train, I knew this place called Ghivizanno was a special place! Casa La Pace feels like home. Rusty & Pepper have captured the essence of everything Tuscan with this B&B. Not only are they the proprietors of Casa La Place, they are now our friends. What a stunning place to spend time with...

I had heard raves about Casa La Pace from numerous friends who have been there, so I made my reservation with high expectations. Happily, Pepper and Rusty were even better hosts than I expected. As expats, they have become an integral part of the town of Ghivizanno, but they are also experts on surrounding areas of Tuscany and combine their...
