Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There are many fine albergues on the Camino. This one is among the best. 12 beds only - no bunks. 2 bathrooms with toilet in each. The building has been renovated from a centuries old barn. To stay is by donotivo, dinner is  €9.00. Suzi & her Spanish husband are the perfect hosts. We all ate dinner that evening together, including Suzi & her husband. Good wholesome food, many ingredients taken from their garden. A couple of gluten free peregrinos were catered for. 2 local wines & water were included. The only negative was the lack of heating which we were advised was waiting repair.

One of my top auberge experiences while completing my camino trek from St J PP to Santiago & Fisterra in September/ October '18. Happy, relaxed calm atmosphere when you need it after long, hard walking days. It's the hosts who truly make it, very friendly and welcoming, lovely meal and comfy bed in a tastefully renovated building. Stay with Susi and Fermin for a night, you won't regret it

Hearrived felt warmth from the minute you step in to when you set off again on your way. The communal dinner was lovely. Instant bonding with people that you will meet again in the Camino. The river just below is an added bonus to a very hot day. Susi and Fermin are both lovely. Highly recommended stop.

We were welcomed with a lovely cold glass of infused water, huge smiles and warm hearts! The accommodation was comfortable and not a bunk bed in sight! Access to the freezing cold river was a god send for aching feet - highly recommend soaking feet/ legs in the river to sooth aches and pains. Susi made a delicious fresh, home cooked vegetarian three course meal which was delicious. Great stay, thank you!

Whilst traveling , we originally booked for 1 night and enjoyed ourself so much we extended our stay . Comfortable and clean , Susi is amazing and what she does and the food is well worth a donation . As an Australian walking the Camino it was great to see vegemite on the breakfast table. Awesome 5 stars !!

One of the best albergues on the way. The place is very nice and comfortable. Convenient bathroom and place to wash and hang out clothes. Large garden with pergolas and hammock. There is a small bridge from which you can put your feet in the stream to relieve the fatigue of the day. The hospitaleros are really nice and friendly. They prepare dinner, which is excellent, and eat together with the guests.
