We were a weekend at Jæktvolden Fjord Hotel for a business seminar. Situated by the fjord location was not better - to bad that it stops there. Long time to get checked in and generally the hotel has great potential for better guest service. We were given rooms in the new wing which was great, great terrace towards the fjord,...

Very pretty location, but very basic rooms. Unfortunatly the quality of the rooms do not match the price - very low value for money. The room is clean. Some smell from outside in the evening. Approx 30 minutes drive to Stiklestad.

This property is nothing special and we would have rated it higher if it had been appropriately priced. Yes, Norway is expensive, but this place is comparatively priced well above what it delivers. Our introduction to the place had the feel of an episode of fawlty towers. It was the receptionists first day (not his fault), but he did not...

We loved staying here the other night and had a tasty meal of fresh sea trout in a citron sauce and a gorgeous chocolate desert all washed down with a bottle of Sancerre. A truly lovely old-fashioned hotel with friendly staff. We will be back on out next trip to Norway and wished we could have stayed a week as...

Norway is a beautiful country to drive through. There is so little traffic on the roads and the scenery is stunning. I recommend this hotel for its location and setting - we had a fabulous time and I would have no hesitation is going back there.

The hotel is located lovely and your expectations are high when you enter the hotel due to the wonderful landscape and the charming outer appearance. But after you have entered and walk to your room you might start to wonder if that is still the same place, the floors and walls are in need of a renovation and the rooms...

Beautifully located in Innherred, beside Trondheimsfjorden, this is a perfect hotel for smaller gatherings andboard Meetings. Service is first-class, so is the food and lodging. Nice fireplaces, traditional interieur, everything makes a good setting for Meetings. To be recommended!

Its a big conference hotel in a big sprawling building nicely situated by the fjord. I got lucky and got a room with a small terrasse and a fjord view, very nice! Good standard in the room and good bed. I slept very well, although I a few times I wondered about a strange noise in the nigth which turned...

I have participated at the conference, which took place at the hotel. The hotel is situated in country-side of Norway and can be reached of by car. The staff is good, but not very fast. The rooms is standard, at my room wifi signal was very poor. The main advantage of this hotel is restaurant, where we have full board....

Location is nice by the fjord far from any shops. The dinners served here are good, breakfast is better than average for Norwegian country hotels, whereas the lunch buffet is less than average. The rooms are small, some have a sloping ceiling so you have to stoop when moving inside the room, the shower floor is not separated from the...
