I have been several times and love it here. Very comfortable and such lovely people. The area is great for walks and the hospitality and food was wonderful. I have stayed twice already and will certainly be returning.

We visited the area with our moth group in July, recording in local woodlands. The views from the property are simply astonishing. This coupled with the incredibly friendly, homely reception we received from Sarah and Steve instantly made us all feel at home. The tea and cake served in the guests lounge in the afternoon is a lovely touch and... More

Thanks for your great review. It was fascinating learning about the 70+ moths you found in our garden - I never guessed we had so many! Your pictures ended up in our local paper and you've prompted me to upload some to my Facebook page. Hope to see you again sometime. More

Sarah and Steve are very welcoming and offer great accommodation in a characterful house set in breath taking countryside. Our room had a super king sized bed, which was very comfortable, and an ensuite with luxury bath and shower. Great breakfast, lots of choices, home made bread, everything top quality. We had our evening meals there too and these were tasty... More

We booked for one night and had planned to take our dog. Nothing was too much trouble in liaising with Sarah on our booking. Great that this place is dog friendly as so many B&B's are not. Hope to take the pooch next time (oh yes, we'll be back!). Our room was The Dean Room which is really large and... More

We stayed here at the end of our first day's hiking up the Offa's Dyke Path with our border collie Maya. It's not actually on the ODP but well worth the taxi fare to get you there and back to the path the next day. What you need most at the end of a hard days hiking are a friendly... More

We spent two wonderful days at Sarah's Place, despite the rain. The room and ensuite bathroom were excellent, large and very comfortable. Sarah went the extra mile to get us beef sausages for the breakfast (as we don't eat pork) which was delicious and plentiful, set us up till evening. It was wonderfully quiet, with a 25 mile view from... More

Fancy a break from the city ? want to re charge your batteries, then look no further ! Sarah's place is dog friendly but for those without dogs this B&B is spotless and would compete with any B&B out there. Just imagine you can walk from your front door in any direction into stunning countryside and you will not be... More

The bedroom was very nice with amazing view from the window. The host were very welcoming and helpful. It is easy to go for a walk in the forest located just behind the house. The food is nice with lot of choices. Very nice time there. We recommend it for everyone who enjoy the nature and to have relaxing time.
