We stayed for four nights at the Premiere Classe hotel outside of Avignon, France. Had some drama getting room keys (see under cons below), but other than that it was a fairly good place to stay.

Pros:
- Most staff was helpful when they were there. One young women, I think named Kelly, was particularly helpful.
- Safe, quiet location.
- Good price for the area and good value for the money.

Cons:
- The first night we arrived after 9 PM and had to use the automated system to checkin. Worked ok (though dark and no light by panel), but the room keys it gave us did not work. Eventually were able to get a key that worked, but then had similar problem with non working keys two other nights, but fortunately there were people around to help.
- The hotel is 3.5 miles from Avignon. Expensive to get there from the train station by taxi. If you come early you can take the Navette bus into Avignon, then transfer to the #3 bus to get to the hotel (ask the driver to stop at the stop near Jardinland, which is right across the street from the hotel).
- The room was very small, with one large bed on the bottom and a bunk twin bed part of it. The bathroom worked find, but was also extremely small. However the room was clean and everything worked okay.

We stayed here during the Avignon Festival on Bastille Day. It was the only room available in the area. We had a triple for 51 euros. It is in an area of car dealerships on teh oustkirts of town off the highway. It was clean and efficient but was the absolute smallest room I have ever been in. It had a bunk bed for teh 3rd person and we all had to be careful not to hit our heads on teh upper bed or the ceiling. You can barely turn around in the room and even less so in the bathroom. I think these hotels are modular that they drop on the site and connect electric and water. They are cheap and clean, and they work, but you get what you pay for. There is a bus stop nearby that takes you to downtown Avignon which is about 20 minutes away. Make sure to check the schedule as the bus has limited hours, especially on holidays. It is also very close (15-minute walking distance) of a large shopping mall. It's not a bad choice if you want to save money and don't care about anything but sleeping, but you get what you pay for.

Having just left this groups hotel in Nice we were hoping for better things for our next 3 nights in Avignon. We were dissappointed. We only stayed one night and found alternative accomodation. Same unclean room and smelly bathroon and a long way from the town centre. By now I was thinking that these hotel were ideal overnighters. Also cancelled booking on Premiere Classe at Carcassone for the 3 nights after this.

Obviously you should know what to expect with a chain like this - cheap, small, simple, suitable only for sleeping and I'm fine with that, but when it comes to this particular location, I would suggest looking elsewhere because the quality is sub-par compared to the rest of the chain. The room was extremely small (you can hardly balance around the bed) and the furniture was very old. The bathroom made me despair (it's a "one piece" imported plastic contraption where you can hardly turn around).

The walls (even between the rooms) are paperthin. We were lucky that our neighbors were quiet and turned to bed at the time that we did, because you can actually hear crystal clear when somebody is talking in the next room and if someone was noisy or turned on the TV, you would hear it as they were next to you. On the other hand, I must say that the road noise wasn't bad (with closed windows, which was ok because the AC was functional)

The wifi they advertise doesn't work - from the two night I spent there, the connection clicked for only about ten minutes. There is a login form that is faulty (I even had the login information printed from the reception so I know it was correct) and won't let you through.

It's located next to car dealerships and things like that, with a shopping mall supposedly 15 min away by foot.

The breakfast is as advertised, I appreciated that among all the sweet things you could find a salvation in the form of salted butter (in case you don't want to eat sweet bread with sweet jam and wash it down with sweet juice with a side of sweet musli or yogurt.) Coffee was good.

Modern motel style small rooms accessible from car park. Good value especially if 2 or 3 people to a room.
Clean, comfortable bed and, importantly in hot summers, excellent aircon.
Breakfast for 5 Euro is ok, usual limited continental type. Free parking and wife.
Room walls thin. I could hear neighbour snoring!
'Bathroom' is a small plastic pod in room corner. Strong spray but shower space is tiny hence title above! (I'm an average sized man and it's a bit difficult! ).
Location really needs a car - quite a way from Avignon centre. Though there is a bus close by.

I had a business meeting in Annecy, and was hoping to travel to the South of France to visit the hilltop towns of the Luberon while I was there, a bucket list item for me. I was worried I couldn't afford it... until I found this hotel! Such a relief to find such a reasonable hotel, and it turned out to be great. Small yes, but very clean, hot water, the bed was soft enough, wifi was decent, the check-in folks almost all spoke English, it was great. And unlike others I didn't hear anyone else at night. It felt like a really good Motel 6 to me. Only downsides were the breakfast was pretty sparse, and you need a car service (or to rent a car yourself) to get to the hotel.

I arrived by train, then used the Bolt app (essentially France's version of Uber) to hire a car to bring me to the hotel. I arrived around 10PM, but someone was still at the check in desk and spoke great English, too. Then I rented a car the next day. I did the hilltop towns of the Luberon one day, then the next day I did Pont du Gard, Saint-Paul asylum in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence (where Van Gogh stayed and painted The Starry Night), Arles, and Avignon itself. Thanks to Premiere Classe for helping my bucket list item be within reach financially! I had a fantastic trip!

I must say this was one of the top Premiere classes I have been at. The staff is nice, the receptionists speaks English (which is a real luck at Premiere classes), therefore I prefer the check-in kiosk...
The hotel was clean, nice, new, room clean, big beds, we had a really nice stay...I wished we could stay longer...

We were doing a trip through Provence and wanted to stay in Avignon and visit places nearby. This place is just outside the city but easily accessible by car. It is not a good option if you're dependent on public transport though. Parking facilities are good and gated.

The place is manned during the day and for late checkins there is a machine which gives out cards/entry codes. The receptionist was friendly and gave us tips about nearby eating places. There is a huge Auchan supermarket in walking distance where there are some snack outlets.

The room itself is very basic and reflect the the price you are paying. However they were clean and served the purpose of staying the nights while visiting nearby sights.
They provide decent wifi connection and an option of breakfast for an extra 5 euros per person.
