I checked in for an overnight stay simply to catch the early morning ferry to Newhaven the following day. The room was very basic, but warm and comfortable. There was no hotel parking, the on street parking is charged for after 9am but my ferry departed three hours before so I parked right outside the hotel at no cost. The... More

Basically this is a good value budget hotel in central town location close to old town, beach etc. Around a 20 min walk to ferry terminal. I personally found the bed a bit on the hard side, and the room was a bit utilitarian, but otherwise basically ok. Also a good buffet breakfast available that there is a surcharge for.

We were looking for a basic hotel with bike storage on the first night of a short cycle tour of Normandy. This fit the bill. The rooms are fairly small and utilitarian, but they are clean and comfortable.

I spent one night here at the start of a French road trip. A few minutes from the ferry terminal, quite easy to find, with cheap parking available. Basic, clean and tidy room (en suite), with free wifi, TV and a proper coffee maker - would recommend for anyone travelling on a budget.

3 of us were on a cycling tour of France and stayed here on our first night after a long day in the saddle. We were made very welcome on arrival and we were able to lock your bikes in a secure room, which is always appreciated. The hotel is fairly basic, but great value for money. Unlimited breakfast with... More

Very old hotel, with many broken things. We arrived at 6.30 pm and the hotel already took the money from my visa without letting me know. We got a room on the 1st floor, with broken lamps. After acking how we could turn on the lights, they gave another room. I think they just hoped we would not test the... More

The room was basic and very clean. The shower was good and hot. We could have done with a mat to step on outside the shower. Thecontinental breakfast with a good quality tea was enoyable. The seagulls were noisy during the day - but not at night. The builders finished their work on neighbouring properties on Friday afternoon and started... More

Arriving late at night in the rain it wasn't easy to find the hotel but once it was located we were pleased with our choice. There was ample on- street parking, free overnight then 2.50 € for the day or in multiples of 50 centimes for 30 minutes after 9am. The room was perfectly adequate with nice crisp linen on... More
