We visited the property in October 2018 and enjoyed both the largest and quietest hotel room I have ever had in Europe. After a long, hard day of Champagne tasting it was a wonderful relaxing place to home back to. The staff was extremely helpful in assisting us with arranging cars. Breakfast was good, and if you have a culinary inclination you cannot miss the three star restaurant for dinner.
The hotel is not centrally located and Uber is not too plentiful in Reims and the surrounding areas, so plan to drive or leave enough time to arrange taxis. The hotel is a 30 minute walk to the Cathedral, or a 5 minute 12 Euro taxi ride.
This is a really wonderful property not far from Reims. We had the “large” room, which didn’t disappoint- huge sitting area with tv, separate desk space, enourmous bathroom and a big bed with the fluffiest duvet I have ever seen.
There are many common area for guests to use - living rooms, lounges, terraces, plus a heated swimming pool.
Staff are professional and attentive, and everyone seemed to know who we were without asking.
The room was more than comfortable, but there was a hole in the couch which was cleverly covered by cushions each day, and some small details like that. Wifi was fast, but not always easy to connect to. It would be nice if it worked on the patios.
Breakfast is well worth the price for the cheese alone, but there are also fruits, yogurts, meats, an impressive array of fresh pastries, plus egg dishes made to order.
The champagne lounge has over 1000 bottles to choose from, with 6-7 options by the glass. Dinner was well-worth the price and they deserve their 3 stars.
Reims is about 30 mins away walking, so its not really centrally located. But you wont want to leave anyway so not really a problem.
We started our 2 week trip to France in Reims at the L'Assiette Champenoise. The hotel is beautiful, the staff were absolutely wonderful and very service oriented. Can't say enough about how well we were treated. The 3 star Michelin Restaurant was just that. We had the chefs tasting with wine pairing and it was FABULOUS. I am a foodie and this was just perfect. The dishes were original, boasting with flavor, but not overpowering. Truly superb. The wine pairings were also perfect. Truly a dining experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We enjoyed our stay for one night at this luxury property. The setting is beautiful, and the rooms are very sleek and well appointed. The staff was kind and professional. The restaurant was closed the night we were there, so I cannot comment on it. We also did not have the breakfast, as 33 euros per person seemed a little high (instead we checked out a patisserie across the street, and ordered four custom made sandwiches and several pastries for our party of four and paid a grand total of 21 euros).
My only negative comment about the actual property, is that we stopped at the bar for a night cap, and the bar man suggested we might like to try a certain scotch. The drinks were 45 euros each! I feel we should have been warned of the excessive price for this particular liquor - we would never have guessed it would be that much.
Truly a wonderful hotel . Room is huge . The bed is extremely comfortable. Everything is control by a smart control . Walk in closet . Only thing is that the toilet is right next to the front door . And your bath room is only for you to take a shower or a bath . If you in the champagne region this a must stay hotel .
