We stayed in the modern chalet building and the room was clean and reasonably spacious. The bathroom was up to date. Our only grumble was the mattresses were very saggy. On the upside the outdoor pool was a bonus and we did use it. The hotel is a little out of town but the park and ride is frequent and...

Stayed in a ground floor Superior Double Room in the chalet, as opposed to the Country House. More of a suite, with lounge area and kitchenette (although appliances were non-functional, of which we were made aware) with dining table. Very luxurious for an overnight stay! Room was quiet, clean, comfortable and well appointed. Staff were professional, cheerful and helpful. Breakfast...

In general, it was a really nice experience for me. Clean room,.quiet atmosphere and pretty good and healthy continental style breakfast. I stayed at a roome on the 1st floor (not ground floor) of the chalet, but if the curtain is not closed completely, maybe the room can be seen from outside. I felt embarrassed a little bit when people...

We stayed at Rectory Farm as close (ish) accommodation for a wedding in Barrington / Orwell. Firstly it is very tricky to find any reasonably priced accommodation near Cambridge. Anything closer to the centre would be for foreign travellers or wealthy visitors. Rectory Farm therefore was reasonable and within striking distance of the wedding. Problem number one was that the...

Firstly on the plus side it's very convenient for visiting Cambridge. That's about the only positive we could offer. We booked a Superior Double room and were very much looking forward to a short stay in a Country house. However the room that we were allocated was in a Chalet style annexe at least 50mts away and not in the...

Really lovely, peaceful place to stay.Perfect location for a visit to the city of Cambridge with everything we needed for our overnight stay.Chalets were clean with excellent facilities. Continental breakfast was adequate and suitable for us however an option of full english breakfast would have been nice.Beautiful well kept gardens to stroll through. Unfortunately we did not have enough time...

The reception is small with one receptionist but she was helpful and showed us around the...

We arrived at this hotel to the sound of the M11 traffic in the tranquil retreat !! The traffic noise was a disappointment ...... We had trouble locating the reception , there was absolutely no sign at all to tell you where reception was all the doors were locked !! We were in the car park looking very perplexed ........

My Daughter decided to use Rectory Farm as a venue for her wedding. I have to say it was a great setting and a beautiful venue. Unfortunately thats where it ends, I found the owner and the caterer very unhelpful. I asked if we could open the bar a little earlier and we were told we would have to pay...

Best of both worlds here. You want to explore the countryside it's on your doorstep. An easy to get to location just off the M11. And either a 30 min stroll to the city centre mainly along footpaths or get the bus from the park and ride nearby. Fab pub in Coton a 15 minute stroll through fields and wood...
