Although out of town and close to the highway, this property is the right combination of modern and traditional, to ma it a memorable stay. It's clean, with helpful staff, comfortable rooms and beds, and a dinning room reminding the guest of a different era, when dining was an art...the motorway noise might be a nuisance when outside, but otherwise,...

Rude arrogant staff. Unhelpful. Its difficult to comment as we were so upset. Complete waste of money. The owner as he made his self apparent was one of the most arrogant people I have met, we had a dreadful stay, the rooms were unclean and tacky....

To start with as you drive through the gateway you know you are in a private secure location, the rooms look cozy but then you notice they are not really up to standard with the cleaning cobwebs around desks/cupboards old crisp packets down the side of cupboard and then the cleaners are folding old dirty towels that you put on...

Stayed overnight after a local wedding. Attractive place with good parking. Were not there long enough to enjoy or comment on the facilities. We had a good nights sleep in an attractive room. Fair price paid and would call again if in the area.

We were warmly welcomed by Roger, his staff and several crackling log fires - exactly what was needed on a cold and damp evening. We were taken to the Bridal Suite, a novelty after 34 years of happy marriage, and loved the space and, with windows to three aspects, the views of the garden in the morning. Breakfast wasn't included...

Lovely large room beautifully furnished and a massive bed made me want to stay longer than the 2 nights booked. Breakfast is best savoured and taken slowly. It was a well presented continental style with lots of choice. I expect to book again if in the area. It has the real avantage of being only a few minutes from the...

A new favourite hotel within easy reach of Cambridge - we will certainly book to stay here again. Remarkably, the hotel is right next to the M11, but it's so quiet that you wouldn't know it. We woke to a beautiful frosty morning that felt like it was miles from the nearest road! The main house is amazing, but we...

A stone's throw from central Cambridge, but without all the hassle. Transport links are excellent. The grounds are nicely managed and the main house is elegant and beautifully presented. The staff are also very helpful.

Rectory Farm is absolutely top-notch in every respect, and great value for money. Wonderfully easy to find (just off the M11), it's a lovely property in beautiful grounds and offers exceptional accommodation for an incredibly reasonable price. Warm welcome, lovely rooms, very comfortable beds, excellent bathroom/shower - the list goes on. My colleague and I didn't stay for breakfast, but...
