I arrived late for two nights and was completely disgusted. I put my bag in my room and went online to book another hotel but had no choice other than to stay for one night. Creepy, dirty and disgusting is all I can say. The bed had been used and the sheets just pulled up, holes in the carpet, light fittings broken and missing bulbs. The room smelt of cigarette smoke, holes in the sink where old taps had been replaced. Honestly it felt like a movie set for a crime thriller and checking out felt more like plotting my escape.

I travel a lot and this is like nothing I have ever seen and seriously it should be shut down.

DO NOT STAY HERE.

same issues as previous 'terrible' reviews, unclean sheets, filthy carpet, smells... don't go & give them $ if you can avoid it. worse place we have seen in Melbourne, better to stay at hostel if on budget. they shouldn't be taking any money for this.

What a horrible place. Stayed there on business and chose it myself because of the location, and it appeared OK on their website. No shampoo/conditioner supplied, heater not working, tv reception inadequate, stained furniture, unclean walls etc. Awoken at 1130 pm to a (I assume) drug affected crazy lunatic screaming obscenities at full volume, then proceeded to bang on windows/doors of the rooms on the lower level (including mine). I thought he was going to invade my room. Rang the Police who failed to attend, lay awake for hours nervous about every noise outside thereafter. People coming and going until all hours, I couldn't get out of there quick enough in the morning and shall never return to this disgusting establishment. I read the reviews of this place whilst awake during that night and it cemented my concerns. It has taught me that price does not reflect the quality of accommodation.

This place is not fit for staying in. Leaking shower I can only assumed as there was a plastic bag over it. Didnit shower due to concern getting an infection as mould and the grout was that dirty. Dirt along the skirting and holes in the door with a bag pushed into it.
I would rather have camped . The room stunk and bed lined was stained. Was a dive and I think OHS and the Health deparment would have a field trip there.

For what we paid we expected a LOT more! All the bedding was stained and ripped, cockroaches, mold, fridge was filthy, only got towels when we asked and they were ripped and holey. They did make the bed each day but little else unfortunately. At over $100 a night I expect a lot better and we will not be going back

The first room smelled so strong of deodoriser and had weird hand prints in some sort of greasy substance on wall above bed. We asked to move to another room, because once you have paid there is no refund. It didn't smell as much, but you could see where some graffiti had been painted on wall. When we pulled bed covers back there was hair on pillows and bed (sheets didn't look like they had been changed either. We ended up getting our sleeping bags out and sleeping in them on top of bed. Door let so much wind through we had to shove a book in crack to keep draft out. Bathroom door didn't have a door knob, and had lots of black mold on walls. We were woken up in the night a couple of times with people talking very loud/shouting. We would never go back. I would rather sleep in the car.‎

What a dive! From the front to the back, it was filthy, cigarette butts everywhere, damage seen everywhere, a distinct smell in the car park. Rooms were not what is portrayed on the website. The photos are all a LIE. COCKROACHES IN THE ROOM AND NOT JUST ONE. Inadequate linen - more had to be requested, same with crockery, none of which matched ( must have come out of the opportunity shop). Didn't dare sleep in the bed. I immediately complained and requested a different room the same day I arrived. Was given not much better downstairs as moving to a different location was not an option because the city motels were ALL fully booked because of entertainment on that weekend. Now that I have read the other reviews, I concur with all of them. THIS PLACE IS A HOVEL. NOT A MOTEL. SHOULD NOT EVEN BE LISTED AS SOME OF THE "GUESTS" APPEAR TO BE LONG TERM DOWN & OUTS. The local council have a lot to answer for, for allowing such a place to exist. PAYING TOP DOLLAR ($110) A NIGHT IS A JOKE. WE DID REQUEST A REFUND. DO NOT STAY HERE

Absolutely disgusted as written to the booking agent who should remove this listing immediately.

Good morning booking .com staff, I would like to voice my concern about this property I will departing today after just one night. I arrived yesterday and paid in full upon arrival for 3 nights. I proceeded to the room to drop bags to make my way to Melbourne City. On return to the room I made a decision to vacate on waking. I pulled back the bedding and refused to sleep on the sheets that are stained. I have found numerous hairs (from others than me) on the sheets, it appears that the sheets have not been changed. In addition to this there are numerous concerns about the legislated requirements that relate to emergency evacuation procedures. I am also tired because of lack of sleep due to the worry of the maintenance of the property the major concern is the electric supply cut off / cut in (operated by inserting door key tag). It has been flashing whilst glowing orange the entire night. I also tried to contact reception as I had people talking on the balcony until half way through the night. I am totally disgusted that this property is even listed as 5/10. I will make a point of reading reviews and carrying out a thorough room check anytime from here on out when and if ever booking again through your site.

I will be seeking a refund for the remaining nights and returning to a property some 100kms away that I know is clean and safe.
On the refund side of things the following 2 nights were refunded without fuss.
