Enjoyable stay at this posh country pub with tastefully decorated rooms, and excellent food. Friendly welcome in both hotel area and bar, and good food in the restaurant. Excellent location, a short drive from the M40, so good for a stopover. Also walks from the charming village. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel hold sentimental value for my wife and I, and we've been back four times. We've always stayed in room 3 until our most recent stop, when we were upstairs. Whilst the recent stay was still nice, we've been spoiled with room 3 and will definitely ask for it when we go back. I really like the feel of...

The room which was quite expensive was okay apart from the smallest TV I have ever seen in a hotel - we have a bigger TV on our boat! Had to disturb the staff chatting in the back to get a drink, tried coughing loudly, tapping on the bar etc, in the end had to go to the small office...

Also in our bathroom the old roof beams extended into the bathroom and especially into the shower so I had to make a spider check on a regular basis for my partner, who is very...

Good room with everything we needed. Nice bar, good food at dinner and breakfast. Lovely staff, particularly Scott who seemed to be everywhere. We walked in the Cotswolds then stopped over here before visiting Blenheim Palace. Then home via Bicester Village.

We stayed here as we were attending a wedding nearby and it was lovely. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable. We had lunch in the restaurant and it was superb. They catered well for gluten free too. Couldn't fault this place and would definitely stay again.
