Hi Michael There are two roads from Leonidio to Kyparissi, the newer and better one still isn't in Google maps. To use it drive via Tsitalia and Pyrgoudi then turn east to Fokiano about 2.5 Km after Pyrgoudi. There's a... More
I have just read these excellent reviews of Paraliako Hotel in Kyparissi. We are considering staying in Kyparissi this September and the hotel looks ideal for us. I hope you don't mind if I ask a few questions as there is very little written about this area, I have read the Matt Barrett's Guide which got me first interested. Is the hotel quiet in the evenings?.....for those who like to go to bed early! How close to the beach is the hotel? Which room numbers have a sea view, if we requested this? Is it easy to walk to the coves/beaches beyond Kyparissi? How long would it take to drive to Monemvassia? I had initially intended to stay there overnight, but if it only takes 1-2 hours we probably would make it a day trip instead! Is it possible to hire sea kayaks in Kyparissi would you know?....we are a pair of old timers, but did this on the Pelion last year and thoroughly enjoyed it LOL. Many thanks for any help given in advance mulch
