Isgaerwen is set in a superb, isolated location with stunning views to Snowdonia. It is 400 years old, recorded at St Fagan's National History Museum in Cardiff as an historic farmhouse. It has been lovingly restored and developed over the past 30 years. Many original features remain undisturbed eg slate floors, inglenook fire-place and exposed oak beams. The 2 acre garden at 1,500ft combines the formal & informal with shrubbery, woodland copses, herbaceous, bog & vegetable gardens and open spaces. Pathways are mainly wide swathes of grass. Children love the tree house, swing and walking the plank! The bedrooms are simply comfortable. Bed linen, towels and bathrobes are luxury cotton; pillows are feather-filled. The bath is extra deep for a really lovely soak. A wet-room shower is available on the ground floor.
