I went for a formal dinner for 250 people and the food was exceptional. Tasty and piping hot. Not an easy thing to achieve for such a large number. I would like to return with the family to sample the rest of the dinner menu. If the accomodation is as good as the food then an overnight stay may be...

A beautiful house with well appointed rooms and quality furnishing. Loved the copper bath in room 1! Food was good quality and tasty with an extensive wine list. Well located for exploring the Welsh coast too.

A delightful country house hotel not far from St Davids on the beautiful North Pembrokeshire coast. A warm welcome and an outstanding tea was served in a very attractive sitting room. Everything home made - we were advised we could take as long as we liked - and we did!

We are so pleased to hear you enjoyed your evening, we were privileged to host a 90th birthday party for you. The Haverfordwest male voice choir were as usual fantastic, what a wonderful tribute to a former member Mr Davies. Great attention to detail, fantastic breakfast. Walks from the door. Easy access to St Davids. Comfortable beds, fabulous showers and huge bath with plenty of hot water. Would definitely book again. They kindly have us an umbrella to take with us too due to the inclement weather!!

I've dined many times at Crug Glas and have always been thoroughly impressed by the food and the service. Perkin and Janet always provide a wonderfully warm welcome. This time I was attending a Ball in The Cow Shed - Crug Glas's function room - and decided to stay the night. The room was beautifully appointed, complete with four-poster bed,...

We visited this hotel, as part of birthday celebration. We had a choice of room and opted for the Long House, which is detached from the main hotel. The Long House is more like a small cottage than a room, superbly equipped and very warm. We had dinner in the main hotel building. Excellent menu utilising local produce. We had crab...

We have recently stayed at the Crug Glas Country House as a couple. Service provided was impeccable, lovely-friendly hosts/staff! We personally like the fact that some of the rooms have been given a modern twist, yet in keeping with the history of the house - unique. Our room was so comfortable and beautifully furnished. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Crug-Glas luxury country house is a mixed working farm of approximately 600 acres. We have dairy cows, beef and cereals and we consider ourselves to be a traditional family farm working alongside nature. We are about a mile inland from the coast and being so far west, situated on the end of St. Davids Peninsula, the sunsets in the evening are stunning. The sun going down behind Penberi rocks is absolutely breathtaking and has inspired many local artists. Crug-Glas has a great amount of history attached to it, in the 12th century the farm is mentioned in the Black Book of St. Davids. This book is an accurate account of many of the farms, manors and estates in the locality naming the owners and tenants of the time. Crug-Glas is reputed to have been one of the many seats (residences) of the Bishop of St. Davids. The farm remained in the hands of the Church for many centuries and it was eventually sold in the early 1900s. ... more   less
