Our second night for the 'Offas Dyke' walk; North to South; which incidentally is the way to go! What a lovely welcome of Muffin and tea, just what we needed. Plenty of room in our suite of rooms. Dinner was delicious and just as we were wishing we had bought some wine, Karyn comes through and asks 'White, red or...

I arrived at 8pm looking like a drowned rat to a warm welcome, a great evening meal with a very welcome glass of red wine and a lovely suite of rooms. My bedroom was clean comfortable and well furnished and my dining table had stunning views over the hills. The breakfast and packed lunch were both excellent. My hosts were...

My wife and I stayed here while walking Glyndwr's Way and Offa's Dyke and had an excellent experience. The location is quiet and peaceful (right next to a farm), and the room was really large. Best of all, you have a _huge_ living and dining area all to yourself--incredibly comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were both terrific. Make sure to play...

After hiking through the Clwydian Range on our Offa's Dyke trip, we couldn't have found a nicer place to rest than Rhesgoed Isa Cottage! Tucked away on a farm just down the hill from Clwyd Gate, Isa Cottage offers a complete suite to yourself! We had our own bedroom and living room with fantastic views of the valley down towards...

We stayed here while walking Offa's Dyke. Karyn, our host, was so welcoming. She produced tea and carrot cake on arrival and then offered either that we eat at the local pub, or at home. She was making a chicken dish for the family, followed by fruit tart - we were welcome to have some. As the accomodation was a...

I found this B&B on the web whilst looking for a place to stay in December in Wales. Rhesgoed Isa Cottage was one of the best stays we have ever had in a B&B. Jane the owner is a lovely host and had thought of everything we could ever need or want. The log fires were burning in every room...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Rhesgoed Isa Cottage is a small, boutique family run Bed and Breakfast, situated within the beautiful Clwydian Range. We are very well placed for some of the most spectacular walks (Offa's Dyke) and mountain biking tracks in the world, and yet just a stones throw from the Medieval town of Ruthin with all it has to offer our guests. Come and enjoy the lovely relaxed atmosphere in our gorgeous suite. Privacy is the key here - you have your own private entrance, a huge en-suite bedroom containing an oh so comfortable Kingsize bed and a single bed as well. You also have your own private lounge with a woodburner for those cozy winter nights in. The view from your accommodation is outstanding! Our sumptuous breakfasts are made from locally sourced produce (our eggs are laid just 10 feet away and we have a farm shop right next door!). So, when you are next planning a trip away give us a call, we'd love to see you. ... more   less
