This place exceeds our expectation! The drive to to the Estate is like you are a lord driving up to your beautiful manor house. This beautiful house is elegant, cosy and tranquil. There is a big long verandah overlooking miles of land and beautiful trees. The view is just wonderful. The service is very good and the staff are attentive....

This place is outstanding! The rooms are beautiful, classy and tasteful. I literally cannot fault Quamby. If you are looking for R&R and romance and style, this is the place. The hotel has about 10 rooms only, our room had our own fireplace and the bathroom is gorgeous. We had the 3 course dinner at the inhouse restaurant which again...

A beautiful resort with an amazing feel and charm of the early 1900's. This place has amazing charm and character, as you pull up to the entrance, and then as you check in you feel like you have arrived at an wonderful manor house. The decor and the stillness in the air leave your mind drifting and you can imagine...

We stayed 2 separate nights in the estate, one night before and one night after the Bay of Fires walk. It was really a very pleasant stay. We were impressed with the beautifully decorated rooms and the stunning grounds, which is such a pleasant escape from the city. Service of the staff was also really great. It is a fair...

Spent 2 nights here on my way to the bay of fires walk. Definitely consider this as an alternative to the sebel if you are joining the walk even though its out of town! Food pricy but delicous; beautiful furnishings open fires and expansive grounds including a golf course. Room had magnificent spa bath and music dock. Shuttle bus intermittantly...

We spent a relaxing evening in front of the fireplace surrounded by old world elegance. Robyn was our hostess and she was extremely helpful, friendly and obliging. The dinner is not to be missed - excellent presentation, flavour, quantity and service. The continental breakfast and home baked breads were very welcome and filling. We had the room next to the...

Lovingly maintained and absolutely gorgeous. I was on my own so took the cheaper room on offer. It was right next to the dining room so a bit noisy but priced accordingly. 20$ for cooked breakfast that didn't include tea and coffee was a bit over the top though. Dinner was average also for price. Library, open fires, beautiful grounds...

A grand house, not over the top upper case Grand House, more a view of how the well off of colonial times would have enjoyed reading or chess in the library, eating well, enjoying the views and wandering the grounds. With two families staying overnight it was great to be able to sit together in the library, some chess, a...
