Really I can't say anything bad about this hotel. It had everything I needed during my stay while caring for family in the hospital up the road from the hotel. 20 minute train ride to the city, free parking and a short walk to the Great Northern Hotel. I stayed here for 5 nights and made use of the gym facilities, laundry and a visit to the pool if I felt inclined. Friendly and helpful staff and the hotel is well kept, clean and tidy.

This Hotel is located close to the city and shopping facilities at Chatswood. It has recently been renovated with improved facilities. The rooms are comfortable and spacious with a great large screen TV, good size mini bar but not stocked with any beverages, plenty of wardrobe space, a good sized bathroom and a reasonably priced continental breakfast option. The lift has been replaced with a modernised and fast one and it speaks to you. Public transport is nearby as are some cafes and restaurants. This is the second time that we have stated here and we will definitely return. Highly recommended and rated about 8 out of 10.

Have stayed here several times now & find it a great place to stay. The restaurant not being open was initially a disappointment but the nearby Great Northern Hotel made up for it. The staff are always pleasant & helpful. For me personally, the pillows are too firm & I will remember to bring my own next time! Free car parking is always a bonus.

We booked the hotel for a night on Booking.com. When we arrived at the hotel the front desk woman asked to put a $200 deposit on another Credit Card. We said the payment is already made by Booking.com and they have our CC but the hotel insisted on taking an additional deposit from us. We checkout the next morning and left good reviews for the hotel on booking.com. A few days later when my CC statement arrived there was a $200 charge. When I called the hotel they told to speak to the manager who accused that we smoked in the room and damaged their sheets. And that they have a policy to charge the guests. We do not smoke and when we asked to provide proof of damaged they simply said we didnt take any pictures of the sheets. We asked why they did not bother contacting us through booking.com to atleast raise their concern they had no answer and simply shrugged their shoulder. Seems like a proven technique to make money over and above their hotel room rates.

I would like to take a further look into this as on the check in we do not take charges if a visa/Amex is presented in the event a debt card is presented we take a pre authorization on the card not a actual charge this is a bank holding that gets released back to your account from your bank within 4 businesses days. We are not running any kind of scam what you have mentioned is incorrect. The rooms are simple, functional and ok. The room I stayed in would benefit from a deep clean. The hotel advertises a bar and restaurant which is very misleading. They do have them but they do not open them. The car parking is free which is good. They have a swimming pool but it was filthy and not open when i was there. The breakfast could be better. There must be a fire and ambulance station close by as sirens go past regularly.

In relation to our rooms they are deep cleaned on a regular basis on a rotating roster which i can confirm i will take that on board your feedback.For our restaurant and bar service the bar is still open for guests to purchase drinks with the restaurant that has been closed due to our recent lift upgrade in the hotel all advertisement has been pulled down over that period and guests were well aware of this form our staff in saying that i am happy to say we are reopening on the 29th of October. For our pool this is open 7 days a week this was open during your stay i can confirm as per our sign we have up around the hotel for our pool the pool is cleaned on a weekly basis by our pool technician.
