A great place to say especially if you like the rustic charm of quaint British pubs. A nice warm and comfortable room with shower that i really liked. All the staff are really friendly and helpful and i think i have found a little gem. Thanks for a great stay

Disappointing visit today, had to send my lunch back (only a jacket potato), but it was rock hard and lukewarm, they sent me another one but that was still hard although little warmer. A very disappointing visit this time, and do not think we will be returning anytime soon. Such a shame as used to be really really good food... More

Met up with family for Sunday Lunch while staying down in Dorset from West midlands. Years since had visited the TLK so was looking forward to a return visit We had fortunately booked a table as read that it gets very busy. It does! so def recommend that you do book in advance. We were slightly unfortunate that a big... More

We stopped here for two nights whilst visiting family in the area. I knew the pub from 20+ years ago as I grew up in the area, but it was just a pub back then without the facilities it has now. It is now a beautiful pub with great accommodation and superb food. The room we had was well appointed... More

This pub is well worth a visit. The service was excellent and clearly well trained and the beer great. We ordered an excellent nut roast vegetarian Sunday lunch buffet. It was very popular so probably best to book but we got in early without.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a room with a four poster bed! Charming room. My only down was the lack of lighting in the room and bathroom. No central light in the room or light over the wash basin. (I think if i remember lighting was similar in room 2) Just as well I don't shave. We arrived... More

Second time visiting the TLK and probably the last unless they get sorted. If a bit of money isn't spent on the place soon it will become run down. The staff tried hard but in all the service wasn't great as it lacked a bit of care as do the rooms and so too the campsite. We ate twice in... More

We booked two rooms just for the night as we were attending a wedding nearby. Set in lovely surroundings with a generous sized restaurant and outdoor area the overall feel of the place was utterly charming. Beds large and comfortable, size of room was generous, furnishings created that English Inn feel. Shower room large, refreshingly clean and crisp. Coffee/tea facilities... More

We visited this pub which is quite near where we live and whilst some of the negatives already posted on this site were obvious (the pub owner has really got to get rid of the 'rough' appearance of the 'campsite' which I can vouch for is currently populated by 'transient' roadworkers - it really is quite offputting on first appearance...
