A group of 8 of us dined at The Gladstone for the first time while on vacation. The food was beautiful but unfortunately the service was appalling.

Lindsey held the whole evening together and worked so hard and is excellent front of house BUT
The food was awful..the goats cheese was not melted and fairly tasteless ..the burger was dry, .undercooked and tasteless. In fact so underwhelming we didn't have dessert.

I did not see any dogs in the bar area on my visit. The main dining area is part separated and breakfast is in different room so maybe a well behaved dog could be allowed in the part further away from food service area. The... More
