We stayed 1 night in Apartment 2 which had 2 bedrooms and a great kitchen/living area. The apartment was very clean and well appointed and the location was great for exploring lovely Blinman. We had breakfast at the Miners Crib Bakery which was great and had sausage rolls to take away which were amazing. We were unable to have Cornish pasties as they were not ready but the Quandong Pie was lovely. We did the tour of the Mine which was very good.

I was recently sightseeing around the Flinders Ranges and had no pre organised plans and stumbled across the Blinman Holiday Units. I thought I'd view the unit before I committed myself and wow did I have a very pleasant surprise. It was fully equipped for self catering guests like myself. The cleanliness was of a high standard. The bed was very comfortable and fitted with good quality linen. The hosts were friendly country folk. I'll definitely be recommending all my friends to stay here.

Having booked the unit for four adults, sight unseen, we were absolutely delighted when we walked in and found a spacious, modern and classy unit. It featured an easy open living space divided into lounge with comfy lounges and TV, dining table and chairs, and an ample kitchen. The kitchen was great - well equipped and laid out. Two bedrooms, (one with a queen sized bed, and the other with two single beds), off the main living room were nicely appointed and very comfortable. As a result of this, the quiet peaceful, town with friendly people, we had a wonderful overnight stay. It was just a pity we weren't there longer.

We stayed for 3 days in Unit 1 and loved it! The unit was so spacious, modern and clean and the bed really comfortable. The Grocery Store at the front has the most scrumptious pasties and lentil and curry soup and the locals are really friendly. The town has so much history with the cemetry quite telling of Blinman's past - a famous explorer is buried there. 3 days wasn't long enough for us - it is a wonderful town to wind down in. Drive carefully as there are many kangaroo's have been killed along the roadside.

Loved this little cafe/accommodation. We had lunch and breakfast in the cafe. The pies, sausage rolls and coffee are delicious. MUST TRY the quandong pie! The room was very clean and big. Thank you for having us David & Amy.

we really enjoyed our easter stop over here , wish we could have stayed more than 2 nights
the accomodation is basic, clean and great value for money
one improvement is to make the courtyard area more inviting , its a little dull and smelly
the bakery is an absolute gem and we couldnt get enough of the coffee and pies
great cute little town we are glad that we visited

Nice spot to stay in Blinman in one of the holiday units behind the bakery. Lovely spot to look at the stars. Toured the cemetry and went on the informative mining tour.
Shower could have had a good scrub and the vanity was clogged with soap and hair (unit 3) which let the unit down for my rating. Comfy bed and very quiet spot.
Ate at the pub next door - good basic pub food. Bakery is on a winner with good food.
A nice place to visit to break the drive up.

The lady in this store is fantastic. She sells great food and coffee and has a general supply of escential goods. Take it from me the Pies are great and the custard tars are also. A note to travellers though, some of the camps books note that PERTOL is available in this town, I was here in July 2016 -- NO PETROL AVAILABLE-- .

Three well-equiped and very large self contained two bedroom units behind the General Store. Suitable for families or groups traveling together (queen and 2 twins in each). Barb the owner is friendly and bakes bread daily. The store has fresh milk, some limited food supplies and ice, as well as coffee and does sandwiches etc. But if you wish to cook you will need to shop and bring it in from Quorn or Leigh Creek. The town septic system is next to the cabins and was smelly when we were there- but it's fine inside. There is no wifi in the town- but a working public phone opposite the pub. Nice little town of 20 people.
