Just back from from a week of pure satisfaction at Grand Hotel des Dunes. The whole team works hard at making you happy and even if the building may have seen better days , it remains a great place to stay ....offering basic but nice and very clean rooms, a most enjoyable restaurant where freshness of the local produces (... I'm going there for so many years and this year, something more has improved. After the new bar with a fantastic view on the sea, cooking is really improved ! Quality remains at very high level and the basic product remains the most important element but there is something different (spice, sauce, diversified vegetables, new preparation etc) that makes a... Lovely old french hotel ,still owned and run by the same family, no fancy frills just wonderful location, lovely food and vey friendly staff . Rooms very nice but old fashioned but the location and food make up for this.

Located right on the coast with superb sea views. Lots of car parking. Bedroom was small and wallpaper peeling off the walls, carpets needed deep cleaning or replacing. Food in the evening good but over priced. Wine way too expensive. Same wine €10 cheaper in other restaurants. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We really loved this little fishing village, with its friendly atmosphere and peaceful surroundings. The Hotel is situated in an ideal location: overlooking the see and cliffs, as well as being a short walk to the town. The rates are reasonable and all staff are so friendly and helpful, giving us ample opportunity to practice our limited French skills. The... More

This hotel is situated in a beautiful fishing village called Lesconil, not far from Pont l'Abbe and from Quimper. The rates are quite reasonable, and many rooms have an unobstructed sea view. One of the very best features is the restaurant. Fresh seafood, beautifully prepared, with a range of menus to accomodate most budgets and levels of hungriness! Go with... More

We stayed in this hotel before Easter, so before the season started, and it was exceptionally quiet and peaceful. In fact almost everywhere in Lesconil was closed in the evening, so things to do after dinner were pretty limited. But it made for a restful stay - I imagine it is much more lively during the summer months. It also... More

The location and views from this hotel are fabulous. As mentioned previously a good handyman is needed to stick curling wallpaper etc. We found that the thin walls enabled many sounds from adjacent rooms to be heard. The reception staff were friendly on arrival but gradually became less attentive. The lack of French speaking by the restaurant manageress made us... More

Madame Thank you for you visit and your advice. I am very sorry that you did not appreciate our room, if you told it we could show you another room. In France there is a not necessary tea facility in all hotels but this investment is plan. However there is no shower curtain for a bath we use it only... More
