Stayed two nights here, have to say it's very clean! However it's down sides are - no tea/coffee making facilities in the room!!! Threadbare rooms, needs an upgrade for sure for the price they charge. Breakfast looked tired and worn out, cheese was curled, potato salad looked like it had a skin on it, you know when it's old it...

This hotel is exactly how you would expect. Everything is good, nothing bad, but no surprise. Breakfast is good, the food is good. They have allergy rooms, free wi-fi (slow), free parking. I think my problem is the total lack of charm. This is a hotel that I use on business trips. I have been here several times, and I'm...

Prior to making the trip north to Narik and Harstadt I researched accommodation. A few places but none located and of the right type in between both locations. The hotel Bjerkvik has a few very diverse reports. Decided to give it a chance! What a pleasant surprise. Amazingly friendly and informative staff, Astrid especially. The menu is limited, a small...

Facing the fjord, this hotel is highly recommended. Breakfast was great and copious, and the evening meals of a VERY high standard. To be commended. The staff were all very friendly and did everything possible to make this an excellent stay. We stayed in room 236, which faces to the back, but is significantly larger than those rooms facing the...

If you're in the area and need somewhere to stay this hotel should fit your bill perfectly. Although it's hardly attractive from the outside, the inside is more than adequate and the location is impressive at the end of the fjord. Reception was efficient and friendly with no issues. The bar and restaurant area are quite large and our waitress...

The hotel is simple and clean. It is situated on the E10 and E6 intersection. The 100 bus stops here on the way to Tromso from Narvik. Friendly staff. Superb view across the water to Narvik. Good breakfast options. The only issue is that the kitchen shut at 6pm, leaving just one choice for food (see other review). Loses point...

At this hotel, I have only tried to test the food. Luckily the service was so bad that I told them to give me money back before I got the food, that saved my life. When I got in, the food of the day were fishsoup, and I asked them if there were any shellfish in the soup or if...

This budget hotel had nice staff, but the room quality needed upgrading badly. Hallway carpets were worn and frayed, rooms were threadbare with old furniture and few amenities. Bathrooms had old fixtures, standup shower with poor drainage and old vinyl shower curtains. Breakfast was very limited. Internet worked well. I would probably stay in Harstad or Narvik on my next...

Stayed there a couple of times while doing some work in the area. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is good. There's a nice lobby to sit and relax in and the location of the hotel is ideal for weary travellers looking for a bed.

Stayed there during a driving holiday through north Norway. Situated conveniently at major road junction. The room was not very large and furniture old and tatty. Breakfast was OK. If this was fifty pounds, no complaints. But at a whopping £120,- no value for money (even for Norwegian standards).
