After reading reviews on Trip advisor we thought the bad reviews couldn’t be as bad as people made out, BOY WERE WE WRONG, EVERYTHING WAS TRUE!!!!!!!!! As Wyndham Diamond owners we have a lot of money tied up with the Wyndham organisation. We are absolutely disgusted at the management, staff, housekeeping, condition of the hotel, cleanliness and maintenance of this...

Loveley resort in a good location across from the beach and very accessible to cafes and hotel. A 5 minute drive into Nelson Bay. Very busy at Easter and no unsocial behaviour element was seen. 40 minute drive from Newcastle which is ideal for a few days break.

The property is tired and under serviced but well located. When paying peak season of $400/night, I expected housekeeping to come daily, they don't. You are expected to seek out items you need (such as soap or more towels) yourself.

On arrival the staff were very welcoming, our room was definitely more than satisfactory and included full size fridge, dish washer, all laundry facilities in a separate laundry room within the apartment. Great swimming pools and spa's indoor and outdoor. A little disappointed in the view from our room as the rooftops did hide some of the wonderful landscape. Overall...

Shoal Bay is a fantastic little part of Port Stephens. We stayed at the Ramada and had a magnificent view over the bay. The room was extremely comfortable. The resort contains pretty much all you need with a bar, restaurants and even a grocery shop nearby.

The Ramada Shoal Bay has many varying faces and levels of quality. This time around we stayed in what i think is the Western wing. The Main building is a totally different experience, and the apartments behind are yet again another experience. The western wing i'm guessing is where they "shove" the Wydham set and the discount rate stayers -...

Service was great and hotel was ok not worth $550 a night though. The rooms are just your normal hotel room. STARTING TO GET OLD WITH MOULD IN SPOTS. Balcony was large but considering the money we paid you'd expect full on ocean views. Comfortable for families and my little ones loved the pool.

I stayed in a studio room in Shoal Bay for 1 day. The property isn't a newly built one but very clean and neat. The room is large with fridge, toaster, microwave, TV and DVDs player. Very convenient for a short and medium stay. They also have spa and swimming pool open til evening time. Overall, this is a great...
