The hostess, Loretta, was extremely welcoming and friendly - a real character, which is shown in the lovely, bright & cheery decor of her home. Our room was very large with very "natty" decor, a good sized bathroom and a private balcony with a lovely view of the area. The breakfast room was a separate cottage/garage in the back garden...

We arrived after a flight delay late in the evening. The owner was waiting for us and showed us the room and the yard. When we asked about a restaurant in the area she mention that the restaurants are closed on Tuesday and if we wish she will prepare dinner for us, of course we agreed, it was an excellent...

Loretta, the owner, is incredibly welcoming and attentive to her guests. She popped in her car to drive a 40KM round trip with me to pick up my daughter and her boyfriend from the train station. The B&B itself is really charming with colourful bohemian decor - it matches Loretta's personality perfectly. Rooms are en-suite and breakfast is served in...

I simply loved staying at Villa Emilia! The rooms are like much like the lovely owner Loretta 'Bohemian Chic'. I felt right at home in the room I stayed in (decorated with elephants!). It has a nice and clean bathroom en suite (shower, no bath) access to a shared kitchen, free Wifi and a cute little balcony. Breakfast is served...

We are walking the Via Francigena in Italy and stayed at the Villa Emlia in the village of Roppolo in June, 2014. This B&B is perfectly located, right on the Via. The proprietor Loretta is simply outstanding- her hospitality, charm and attention to detail is unlike anything we have encountered in our 50 nights in Italy. She immediately made us...

We stayed at Villa Emilia for 2 nights in May 2014 and loved it!! Loretta, the owner, is a gracious and friendly host, happy to help with travel tips. The rooms are incredible - wonderfully colourful and funky, decorated with art from far away places, and solid-wood antique furniture. The location is great and the breakfast delicious. We highly recommend...

Roppolo is a quaint little village, just above the valley overlooking Lago di Viverone. The house is situated on a little square. The via Francigena runs past the village. We arrived late at night and the owner, Loretta, awaited us with a warm welcome and with her dog Farouk on the square. We rented the top floor, which was a...

We stayed at B&B Villa Emilia for 10 days in a row. We had carefully chosen a B&B in Roppolo, because it is well situated and not far from cities like Biella, Torino, Milano and Barolo. And because Roppolo is not packed with tourists from other countries, the place still has an authentic Italian feel. And most important: our dog...

“If your budget allows, ask for the apartment because the view from the terrace is breath taking. Though the normal rooms are also nice WITH small kitchen where you can have tea, coffee also by yourself. A large fridge is in the kitchen where you can keep drinks and other staff. 予算内であれば3階のアパートがオススメ。広いテラスからは湖が一望できて何よりお部屋が大きい。2階のお部屋もそれぞれに小さいキッチンと家庭用の冷蔵庫が付いてるのでスーパーでお買い物したり飲物保存するのも心配無用。”
