Linda the owner welcomed us when we arrived and was always ready to have a chat. We were able to return to our room at anytime and she even made a pot of tea. A very relaxing b&b being in the countryside plenty of wild birds. An excellent place to take trips in the area and especially for those interested...

My fourth year of Linda's excellent hospitality. Linda is a very experienced hostess. Very angler-friendly and in the centre of excellent fly-fishing country. The Wye Usk Foundation booking/advice office at Talgarth is very close .

A delightful traditional Welsh farmhouse B&B that's full of charm and character. I stayed for 2 nights and arrived late each evening after a long day fishing and Linda welcomed me with a well timed pot of tea. Useful drying facilities too. A very good breakfast (home produce!) with rooms full of fascinating traditional decor and furnishings. An enjoyable stay...

The Old Vicarage was an ideal stop for me, close to the route of the Wye Valley Walk. A Bed and Breakfast in the old-fashioned sense with genuine character and a personal touch. The welcome was great - a very welcome pot of tea on arrival, and breakfast included home-made jams. A short walk away in the village was the...

Our annual visit to the area with my sister would definitely not be the same if we did't stay here! We were in the beautiful twin room which induced a great nights sleep not only with the amazing decor but the heaps of cozy blankets on the bed. The shared bathroom was like an en suite as it was next...

This is my ninth visit (!) and I always look forward to the next one. Linda is such a lovely host, the decor is exactly what I like and the breakfast is delicious. What more could you ask? Old fashioned in the best possible way and so unpretentious.

the only accommodation halfway on our walk. Welcoming, comfortable beds, good breakfast. Bit tricky with the traffic walking along busy road, but Linda (owner) did volunteer to drive us/pick us up from/to pub and in morning to start of walk. despite busy road was quiet.

Three wet, wind battered and weary cyclists arrived at the Old Vic BnB on a cold December night. We were at the door by the wonderfully friendly Linda and instantly shown into her warm and cosy home. Defrosting by the log fire, Linda kindly offered us tea and then showed us to our rooms. Going way beyond the call of...

I have been staying at the Old Vicarage for a number of years whilst working at the Royal Welsh Show ground. The rooms are beautifully furnished with very comfy beds. The bathroom is always spotlessly clean, with a good shower. Linda is the perfect host, always welcoming and friendly, and serves a tasty farmhouse breakfast. Within walking distance is the...
