Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Where do I start .
Well during a serious weather event the staff looked after us ten fold . The place is absolutely professionally ran , with organising events on special weekends to holidays . We stayed there twice for over a month each time
Both times excellent service exceeding the standards
I'd personally recommend staying there A1 experience

Love this park, we had 3 cabins with very close access to the beach and all the facilities, so safe for the children too, we have rebooked to come back next year, that will be our 3rd year, can't wait! Also many thanks to Rebecca on Reception who was so lovely and helpful :)

Stayed here over Easter and it was great. They send daily text messages about activities that are on throughout the day like movies. Great local knowledge and advice on what beaches to go to based on weather. Kids play area is perfect too. Affordable compared to big 4 parks, with much better customer service.

Plenty of clean BBQ areas also.

The park is well maintained and ensuite nice and new & clean. But..we were put on site 137 instead of site 135 that we had specifically booked. Site 137 is adjacent to a very noisy pool pump box that runs 24/7. When I spoke with the manager, he told me it could not be switched off. I find that this does not take the caravaners/campers need for sleep into account. Even if you want to sit outside your van in the day it is very noisy and irritating. I think that these sites close to the pump need to be removed as unsuspecting people are going to be very disappointed. We loved the look of the park but without sleep it is not enjoyable. The irony is that they put out a message about no noise after 10pm but the noisy pool pump is ok..doesn't make sense!

My husband & I know this area pretty good - over the years stayed with our children when they were little all along the South Coast. Currarong/Wilson's Beach was one our favourite spots. We arrived their with our new Motorhome, we had a great spot - easy set up, close to amenities (nice hot showers), used the barbecue, friendly neighbors, close to beach, dog friendly park saw them - but never heard them, lovely girls in the office. We would definitely stay here again. AWESOME

We've stayed here on five occasions.
Currarong is magic and the park has been upgraded with new play equipment over that time (jumping pillow, mini golf, waterpark)

The main two bathrooms are very tired and management haven't responded to suggestions (eg broken locks on doors which were reported three years running, timer switch on bathrooms being set so that bathrooms very dark at dusk and early morning, soap not re-filled often enough during busy January period).

One thing we always found off about this park is no rubbish bins around the park! Instead they have a John Deere vehicle that comes and collects your rubbish once a day - but if you're out when the rubbish run happens then too bad, you have to walk your rubbish all the way to the skips at the front of the park.

It is very disappointing to receive this review Rae when I know that we have provided your whole family with great customer service. You will be aware that when your sites had to be re-located the time and effort that was taken to ensure that your whole group was camping together. When you complained about noisy people on sites beside you we spoke to them asking them to quieten down, when your Mum had a fridge in her cabin that was making to much noise and keeping her awake, we changed the fridge for her. At the moment the small church amenity block down by the walking path is being renovated as this was tired and needed a face-lift. We are confident that those camping down that area will be very pleased with the addition of a laundry and more toilets/showers. Future renovations will be under taken in the future. We do try to respond to suggestions quickly, we may not be able to always do as you suggest, or we may not be able to get a maintenance guy into the ladies immediately, due to the number of ladies using the facilities at that time, but broken locks on doors are fixed and for some reason it is more of a problem in the ladies than in the men's. We have changed countless numbers of these and will continue to change these as we are aware of the problem. All the amenity blocks have sensor switches on them so that they are automatically activated at a certain level of light not at a set time. We have our skip bins located at the front of the park so that the big rubbish trucks do not need to come into the park, this is for the safety of our guests and their children. We have staff during peak season that come around and pick up your rubbish, this is a complimentary service, it is always between 8-10 and if you are not at your camp site, then yes, we do ask that you walk the 3 minute walk to the front of the park.

This is a review by a vexatious complainant who was removed from our park in 2018 for breaching holiday park rules and guidelines. This reviewer has been reported for continual online harassment & is now a legal matter. We do recommend you preview the many other positive reviews about this holiday park. There wasn't much to like about this campsite. Massive dumpsters next to the kitchen were overflowing and stinky. The kitchen itself was dirty and tatty with old equipment, and broken insect screens. The barbecues were either not working or filthy, or both, and had been set so you have to spend $3 for enough gas to cook burgers. And because the campsite is cheap it attracted some fairly rough customers who kept us awake partying into the small hours.

It's located on the northern peninsular of the bay, which is 45-60 minutes drive from the picturesque scenery the bay is best known for (e.g. Booderee National Park, Hyams Beach) as well as the main commercial centre (Huskisson). Currarong itself is quite sleepy, and quite nice if you've bought your own food with you - but not the main event for us. Think next time we'll spend the extra money and stay further South.

Internet services were unreliable, and we couldn't get a phone signal (Vodafone). Probably a plus point for some!

The campsite does have a jumping pillow and some other play equipment which the kids enjoyed - hence this place gets two points instead of one.

Please accept our aplogy for the delay in responding to your response. We are dissapointed that your stay in Currarong was not what you expected. We have taken note of your comments and have put policies and procedures in place to ensure that this does not happen to others. The skip bins are now contained in a fenced off area, it is not visible from the camp kitchen or the camp sites. The kitchen is old and tired and in need of some work. We have had the b/qs serviced by the electrician and the plumber and found little faults with a couple of them, this has now been rectifiied. We work hard at promoting a family friendly campsite we do not encourage parties late into the night. If there ever is a problem please come and see Management and we will address any issues immediately. Currarong is a beautiful coastal villiage, part of Currarong charm is the fact that it only has a general store, a chinese restuarant and a Seafood Restuarnt with the catch of the day straight from the ocean to your plate. Zacs now serves coffee out on the ocean view deck. Should you need groceries Callala Bay and Culburra Beach are only a 15minute drive to the local supermarket. Vodafone is known for its great coverage in the city but has poor coverage in the country. I am glad your children enjoyed the jumping pillow and playground. We now have a mini-golf course which has been an absoloute hit with all ages this summer.

Stayed in self-contained cabin with deck. Nice clean basic newish cabin. Value for money for a couple. Plenty of food places locally. Need a car. Close to beach. Safe and low noise in off season. Staff friendly. Organised for late arrivals. Might be a bit crowded in high season.
