Jane and Carl where most welcoming and have a fantastic spacious single level cottage with an enclosed garden attached. We enjoyed the homemade Dorset Apple cake and pot of Jam that was waiting for us on our arrival. This is an ideal spot to explore the area. We visited Beer, Branscombe, Seaton, Axminster, Sidmouth, Budleigh Salterton and Exmouth. There are many local places to eat out as well. Many thanks.

The best breakfast out of three b&b’s I stayed at, quality sausages and bacon. Home made carrot cake and biscuits left in our room and apart from being delicious I was really touched by the personal touch. We were also given slippers that came in handy for the rest of our trip. Really comfy bed and large shower. Lots of room for parking. Both owners were friendly and easy to talk to. Would definitely return.

I very rarely write a review, but felt I ought to as spillers b&b is just fantastic. From the moment we arrived the hosts, Jayne and Carl were so warm and welcoming, they explained everything and had left home made carrot cake and biscuits in the room with plenty of coffee, assortments of tea and hot chocolate. There was a heatwave when we stayed Friday to Monday and a lovely air conditioning fan was provided which cooled the room perfectly. The room was beautifully decorated and the en-suite was lovely, so much so I took photos to steal their ideas. The breakfast was delicious, all the food locally sourced or fresh from their own farm. On our last night we were sitting in the garden and decided to order an Indian takeaway as we couldn’t book anywhere to eat. The hosts very kindly supplied all the plates, cutlery and serviettes, just nothing was too much trouble for these lovely people. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Only stayed one night, but Jayne and Carl are excellent hosts. Great room with lovely shower. Delicious breakfast with Jayne's home made preserves, some of which we purchased to bring home. Would thoroughly recommend.
