Best option around, but wud give it 3.5 if that were possible. Staff super friendly and helpful, especially when the room we were given smelt strongly of fresh cleaning and even though it was a busy time, they changed us – thank you. Hotel couldn’t be closer to the beach really, and so many other great beaches nearby, with lots of underground parking there too. You can rent their bicycles cheaply, which is really good especially for cycling the flat Narrabeen Lagoon circuit 2 blocks away, with lots of ducks! Rooms & bathrooms are huge, but a bit weird for couples with 2 queen beds, and furniture a little bit daggy, but super thick patio glass is appreciated for quiet at night. Our Aircon was a bit weak, and needs its filters changed. Included breakfast was basic to the point of uninspired, but there are lots of great restaurants up that way and attached bottle shop very convenient, even if u do have to walk all the way round the building to get at it?! Don’t regret our stay there, visiting local friends, but we do stay in the best hotels around the world, so 2 nites was enough. Decide for yourself...

We traveled to Narrabeen for a family weekend away. Check in was so easy to complete online prior to arrival. So I only had to pick up keys, Anita on reception was fabulous assisting us with phone chargers and beach towels we accidentally forgot to pack. The bistro downstairs was very convenient for family dinner after a long drive. Upon entering the room I could not believe how clean and tidy the room was having all the amenities we needed and the ocean views were just gorgeous, we were very excited with how beautiful our room was, the room consisted of two queens been which was perfect for two adults and two children, the kids connected iPads to the wifi and the loved having Netflix in the room making them feel at home. The beach across the road is where we spent our days being able to walk to restaurants and cafes nearby. We also went swimming down the lagoon just a few blocks away, what a great location on the second night we ordered room service for the kids which arrived so quickly and the food was great! Thank you to the lovely team at The Sands for a great weekend away, we left so Happy and hope we can return again soon, we will be back!!

The breakfast was included in my room rate but I was charged $8 extra for it. The staff said that the continental breakfast was included, because we had some hot meat. They put everything on the counter which was very confused. We had many continental breakfast before some included hot sausage even fried egg so that I couldn't figure out what is it?

The continental breakfast includes toast, cereal, yoghurt, pastries, fruit, fruit juice and self serve tea and coffee. We were very disappointed that we weren’t told when we made our booking that there would be no room cleaning during our stay ! For the rate we were charged this was unexceptionable, we booked over 10 rooms for our sons wedding and as we needed to use our room for my son to get ready in it was unfair to have to clean the room up myself on such an already busy day. To ask us to put our rubbish and towels outside each day was very unprofessional, we realise they may have had staff problems but we stayed in Sydney for a week and did not have this problem and I believe a discounted rate should of been offered or an email sent prior. We also found the room were dirty especially the bathrooms

As outlined, we are currently limiting our housekeeping services due to the rising Covid-19 case numbers in NSW in order to protect both our guests and team members and to ensure our business remains open. The in room letters outlined further information should you have required fresh towels, amenities, rubbish removed etc & to contact Reception if you require any further assistance. Had our team be notified it was your son's wedding day, we could have certainly serviced the room with minimal guest contact. Furthermore, our rates are currently discounted until the Covid-19 case numbers stablisie and we are able to start servicing all rooms daily again. The hotel is located overlooking Narrabeen beach and a short walk from the lakes with their recreational amenities. The room was spacious and well equipped and clean. The beds were comfortable and although the hotel is next to a road the room was very quiet as it had good double glazing out onto the balcony. It has a decent bar and bistro with good live music and TV sports .The staff were very friendly and helpful .

Pleasantly surprised by size of the studio rooms -very spacious and large bathroom, plus large balcony with table and 2 chairs. Also included tea/coffee making facilites but no toaster/microwave. Staff were super friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. Being on a main road and above the pub/bistro I was worried about noise, but solid walls and double glazed sliding window/doors kept it very quiet. We stayed Tue/Wed nights so it would have been quieter than a weekend. Loved being able to hear the ocean from balcony and walking to beach across road (1 min).

A nice quiet place to stay despite being in between two busy roads. The room was spacious and the bed enormous. The table and chairs, however, were on the balcony. The bathroom was unusual in that there was nowhere to put anything down. No room for makeup, shaving gear, even toothbrushes, There was a chair but that we needed for clothes. Also the walk in shower, like all of those I have used in other places including a hospital, covered most of the floor with water. Great care is needed in getting to the toilet in the middle of the night! The best things were the underneath garage and the handy cafe on Ocean Road.

My partner and I needed to be in the area the next day and thought we may as well make a night of it if we could find somewhere last minute. We found the price very reasonable, the staff were lovely and made it very easy for us to understand what to expect within the establishment given current restrictions. Clean, comfy and spacious room that did a great job of blocking out the street noise. Will definitely return for a relaxing weekend in future.

We booked an ocean view suite online. We paid $173 which also included a drink voucher each, and also two big breakfasts (July promotion). Parking was free.
We arrived at the hotel and had no trouble finding parking. I had already checked in online so that process was seamless. The staff at Reception were friendly and very helpful. We were given a top floor room which had views of the ocean across the road. The room had two queen size beds which were super soft and very comfortable. The room was very clean and included a balcony, a decent size fridge and coffee machine. The bathroom was larger and included a full size bath. There was also bathroom amenities.
The hotel has a beautiful bar and there is a BWS next door. The restaurant food was delicious. The next morning we had breakfast which was also delicious and complementary.
We highly recommend this hotel for the quality, service, the free parking, the location and the value for money.

Hello,
All of our rooms have tea and coffee making supplies. Our nearest supermarket is Woolworths which is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The B Line bus goes directly to Wynyard and the stop is a short walk away from the hotel.
There are more places to choose from in the Narrabeen area.
